Safety warnings

WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifica tions provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
– Remove the mains plug from the socket and/or the battery pack from the power tool before choosing settings on the underframe. Some accidents are caused by power tools starting accidentally.
– Set up the underframe properly before positioning a power tool. Correct setup is important in order to avoid the risk of the mobile saw table and work bench collapsing.
– Ensure that the power tool stands securely on the underframe before using it. If the electric power tool slips on the work bench, you may lose control of the power tool or the workpiece.
– Place the underframe on a solid, even and horizontal surface. If the underframe slides or wobbles, it may not be possible to control the power tool or the workpiece safely and reliably.
– Do not overload the underframe and do not use this as a climbing aid or stool. Overloading or standing on the underframe may shift the centre of gravity of the under frame and cause it to tip over.
– Observe the operating manual of the power tool being used. Non-compliance with the safety warnings and the maximum workpiece dimensions make the machine unsafe and may lead to accidents.
– Do not use the machine to transport people or as a toy. Children need to be supervised to ensure they do not play with the machine.
– Do not saw into the plastic parts of the shovels or into the plate. A damaged shovel or plate may break. This means a risk of injury.

Intended use

The underframe UG-CSC-SYS is provided and intended
– as an underframe for the CSC SYS 50 EBI,
– for transporting multiple Systainers on top of one another like a hand cart,
– as a work bench.
Another half-stationary machine may only be operated on the underframe UG-CSC- SYS if its stand area is safely within the [7-1] range.

The user is liable for improper or nonintended use.

Assembly

6.1 Fitting a handle [2]
Fit the handle before using for the first time (see figure [2]).

Set-up/start-up

Keep the floor around the work bench level, in good condition and free of loose objects (e.g. chips and offcuts).
For the machine to stand securely on the plate, always keep the plate free and clean.

7.1 Setting up in high working position [3]
Offset slight unevenness in the stand area with height adjustment [3-1].
The additional feet [3-2] serve to increase stability with large or heavy workpieces.

7.2 Setting up in low working position [4]
See figure [4].
7.3 Setting up in hand cart position [5]
► Set up the protective feet to protect the shovel’s surface.
► Secure the load to be transported with the belt, which is one of the items included. To do so, guide the belt through the eyes [5-1] provided.

7.4 Positioning the CSC SYS 50 EBI [6]
The plate of the underframe UG-CSC-SYS is specially designed for the tool reception of the CSC SYS 50 EBI. In each case, the CSC SYS 50 EBI can be rotated by 30° until
the next secure tool reception.

7.5 Shovel as workpiece support [8]
The height of the work surface provided by a CSC SYS 50 EBI placed on the underframe matches that of a fully erected shovel. Longer workpieces can be supported on the erected shovel.

7.6 Putting down half-stationary machines [7]
Other half-stationary machines must be put down on the perforated top inside the marked area [7-1].
