IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNINGS

1. Before use of the product, please read this instructions manual and keep it for future reference. The original document was prepared in the Hungarian language.
2. Children under 3 years of age shall be kept away from the appliance. Children over the age of 3 and under the age of 8, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience and knowledge shall not use this appliance unless they are supervised or have been given instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Children may perform the cleaning or user maintenance of the appliance subject to supervision.
3. Make sure that the appliance was not damaged during shipping.
4. Use only the supplied mains adapter for the appliance.
5. Use, charge and store the appliance at temperatures between 15 and 35 °C. After charging the battery, unplug the AC adapter from the wall socket.
6. Do not disassemble or modify the appliance as this could cause fire, accident or electric shock.
7. Do not short-circuit the contacts of the appliance!
8. Never touch the appliance or the mains adapter with wet hands!
9. Make sure that the power cord and the power adapter do not touch water or other liquids!
10. Do not immerse the appliance in water.
11. Unplug the power cord from the socket by the adapter, not by the cord!
12. For additional protection, all circuits in a room containing a bath or shower must be protected by one or more RCDs with a maximum rated trip current of 30 mA! Get professional help!
13. Always unplug the adaptor when leaving it unattended and before assembly, disassembly and cleaning.
14. If you notice any abnormal operation (e.g. unusual noise from the appliance or a burning smell), switch off the appliance immediately and unplug it from the mains socket.
15. Protect from dust, moisture, sunlight and direct heat.
16. Only connect to earthed wall socket with 230V~ / 50 Hz rated supply voltage. The circuit must be protected by a 16 A circuit breaker.
17. Do not use an extension cord or splitter to connect the appliance to the mains.
18. The product is designed for household, not for industrial use.
19. The appliance must not be used for clipping animal hair!
20. ATTENTION! Keep the appliance dry!
21. Do not use the appliance in environments where flammable vapours or explosive dust may be released. Do not use in an inflammable or explosive atmosphere.
22. Use it only under dry, indoor conditions.
23. Only use the appliance to trim dry hair on the head and body. Do not use with shaving cream!
24. Due to continuous developments, technical specifications and design may change without prior notice.

ATTENTION! Do not use this appliance near a bathtub, shower, sink or any vessel containing water!
Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist. In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced with cables obtained from the manufacturer or its service facility.

COMMISSIONING

1. Before installation, carefully remove packaging, and make sure not to damage the unit or the power cord. If you find any damage, the unit must not be operated!
2. The appliance is exclusively for use in a dry, indoor environment.
3. The appliance should only be used to trim dry hair or body or facial hair!
4. Fully charge the battery before first use. To do this, connect the mains adapter to the appropriate socket on the appliance (6) or the holder (13) and then to the mains. Charging is indicated by a red LED flashing on the device and a steady green LED when charging is complete. When charging is complete, disconnect the AC adapter from both the mains and the device.
5. When not in use, charge the battery at least once every 6 months.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

To ensure the optimum performance of the appliance, it is necessary to clean the appliance and the accessories used after each use.

1. Before cleaning, switch off the appliance. Always unplug the adapter from the mains socket!
2. Remove the cover and head from the appliance. Clean used accessories with the brush provided.
3. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents! Do not let water leak inside the appliance or spill in electrical components.
4. Oil the blades after every few uses. Drizzle 1 drop of the oil supplied on the cleaned blade and spread it evenly with a clean cloth. Wipe off any excess. You can use any acid-free oil (e.g. sewing machine oil) for similar purposes instead of the oil supplied.

OPERATION

1. The unit can be switched on and off using the push button on the unit.
2. You can also use the device when connected to the mains. In this case, when the device is switched on, the charging LED will go out. After use and before cleaning, disconnect the adapter from the wall socket and the device.
3. Always switch off the appliance before replacing the heads or tops.
4. To install and remove the heads or attachments, follow the procedure shown in Figure 2. Before use, make sure that the head or fitting is properly attached to the appliance.
5. For ideal results, push the appliance against the direction of strand growth when trimming hair or beards. It is recommended that you start with the largest attachment you can use in the area and gradually reduce the size. While trimming, move the appliance slowly and keep the flat part of the attachment in contact with the skin. Do not press the device firmly against the skin. If the attachment is filled with hair or stubble, it may need to be cleaned during use. To do this, turn the appliance off, blow it out, or use the brush provided to clean the appliance of any accumulated hair or stubble. If you have removed the attachment to clean it, make sure that you have replaced it correctly before continuing to use it. When using and cleaning the shaving head, be aware that the sieve is fragile.
6. When using the nose and ear trimmer head, make sure that it is inserted no more than half a centimetre into the nose or ear.

Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
