Kinderkraft CAMI Baby Cot and Playpen
Dear customers
Thank you for choosing a Kinderkraft product. Our designs are child-oriented –
safety and quality always come first, be sure you’ve made the best choice.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS WARNING
- Be aware of the dangers of open flames and other sources of intense heat, such as fires on electric poles, gas fires, etc. in the immediate vicinity of the crib;
- Do not use the crib if any part is broken, torn or missing, and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer;
- Do not leave anything in the crib and do not place the crib near another product that could provide support or pose a suffocation or strangulation hazard, e.g. cords, cords for blinds/curtains;
- Do not use more than one mattress in a crib.
- The bed is ready for use only when the locking mechanisms are engaged. Carefully check that they are fully locked before using the folding travel bed.
- The lowest position of the base is the safest. When the child begins to sit alone, it is advised to use only this basic level.
- If you leave your child unattended in the crib, always check that the side entrance is zipped.
- All mounting elements and connections should be properly tightened and regularly checked and re-tightened if necessary.
- To prevent injury from falling, if a child can climb out of the crib, the crib will no longer be used for that child.
- WARNING — Use only the mattress sold with this crib, do not add another mattress to this one, there is a suffocation hazard.
GAME ROOM – WARNING:
- Do not place the enclosure near an open fire or another heat source.
- Do not use a fence without a stand.
- Make sure the playpen is fully raised and all locking mechanisms are engaged before placing your child in this playpen.
- The maximum age of the child for whom the playpen is intended – is 36 months.
The base should always be used in the lowest position as soon as the child is old enough to sit, kneel or pull up.
- Accessories not approved by the manufacturer must not be used.
- Do not leave anything in the playpen and do not place the playpen near another product, which could provide a foothold or pose a suffocation or strangulation hazard, e.g. cords, or ties for blinds/curtains.
- All assembly joints should always be properly tightened.
- Do not use the fence if any part is broken, torn, or missing, and use only replacement parts approved by the manufacturer.
- If you leave your child unattended in the playpen, always check that the side entrance is zipped.

Assembling
Assembling the crib with the mattress in the upper position (picture I)
Take the crib out of the bag. Pull the shorter sides of the frame to unfold
the crib (picture A). You will hear a recognizable “click” if the installation
is done correctly. Insert the plastic legs into the legs of the crib (picture
B). Make sure the leg you choose has a clip that matches the clip on the cot
cover. Spread the legs of the crib. You will hear a recognizable “click” if
the installation is done correctly. (C) Then attach the cover clips to the leg
clips (Figure D). Unfold the mattress by pulling on one side (picture E);
place the mattress on a clean surface so that the pockets for the metal
supports are visible. Push the ends of the metal brackets marked with holes
into the pockets. Connect them and secure the connection point with a hook and
loop fastener (Figure F). Place the mattress in the crib (picture G). There
are six hook and loop fasteners on the bottom of the mattress. Thread them
through the base of the crib and connect to the hook and loop fasteners below.
Make sure the zipper is secured with a clip (Figure H).

Take the crib out of the bag. Pull the shorter sides of the frame to unfold
the crib (picture A). You will hear a recognizable “click” if the installation
is done correctly. Insert the plastic legs into the legs of the crib (picture
B). Spread the legs of the crib. You will hear a recognizable “click” if the
installation is done correctly. (C) To unroll the material in the down
position, open the buckle (Figure H) and open the zipper around the perimeter
of the crib. Attach both clips to the leg clip straps in each corner (Figure
J). Unfold the mattress by pulling on one side (picture E); place the mattress
on a clean surface so that the pockets for the metal supports are visible.
Push the ends of the metal brackets marked with holes into the pockets.
Connect them and secure the connection point with a hook and loop fastener
(Figure F). Place the mattress in the crib (picture G). There are six hook and
loop fasteners on the bottom of the mattress. Thread them through the base of
the crib and connect to the hook and loop fasteners below. The bed has side
access – open the zipper to open it (picture K).
Folding the crib
Open the fasteners on the clips that connect the mattress to the base of the
crib and remove the mattress. Open the clips that connect the material to the
legs (picture M). Place the crib upside down. Correct the base material of the
crib. Pull the handle on the leg of the crib down and fold the leg towards the
inside of the crib. Repeat with the remaining legs. There are buttons in the
middle of the longer sides of the frame. Press them while simultaneously
folding the crib frame in half (picture O).
Cleaning
Crib fabric – remove the fabric from the crib by opening the zipper under the crib frame. You can hand wash it in warm water using a mild detergent. Mattress cover – remove the mattress cover by opening the zipper. You can hand wash it in warm water using a mild detergent. Never clean with abrasive ammonia-based cleaners, bleach or alcohol. The bed must be completely dry before use and storage. Frame and legs – clean the metal frame with a soft, clean, damp cloth and mild soap.
Warranty

All Kinderkraft products are covered by a 24-month warranty.
The warranty period starts from the day of delivery of the product -
The guarantee is valid only in the member states of the European Union, excluding overseas territories (as currently defined, including in particular: Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands, French overseas departments, Aland Islands, Athos, Ceuta, Melilla, Heligoland, Busingen am Hochrhein, Campione d’Italia and Livigno) and the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland excluding the British Overseas Territories (eg Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands).

The manufacturer’s warranty is not valid for countries other than those listed above. The terms of the additional warranty can be determined by the Seller.

In some countries, it is possible to extend the warranty for a limited period of 120 months (10 years). Complete terms and warranty extension registration form available at WWW.KINDERKRAFT.COM.

The guarantee is valid only in the territory indicated in paragraph 2.

Claims must be submitted by filling out the form available at WWW.RMA.KINDERKRAFT.COM.

The warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to: scratches, dents, and cracks in the plastic unless the defect is due to a defect in materials or production;
- Damages resulting from misuse or poor maintenance – including but not limited to: mechanical damage to the product caused by misuse or poor maintenance;
- See instructions for the use and installation of the product contained in the user manual;
- Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, or disassembly of products and/or accessories;
- See instructions for the use and installation of the product contained in the user manual;
- Damage caused by corrosion, mold, or rust resulting from improper maintenance, care, and storage;
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise resulting from the normal passage of time;
- This includes: tears or punctures in inner tubes; tire damage; damage to the tire tread; fading of fabrics as a result of mechanical use (eg on joints and covering moving parts);
- Damage or erosion caused by the sun, perspiration, detergents, storage conditions or frequent washing, etc.;
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake, or other external causes;
- Products that have been modified to change functionality without 4Kraft’s written consent;
- Products from which the serial number or batch number has been removed or tampered with in any way;
- Damages caused by the use of third-party components or products – including but not limited to: cup holders, umbrellas, reflectors, bells;
- Damage caused by transportation or by the ground handling service provider.
