Product Information
The ARM & HAMMERTM STORAGE MOISTURE ABSORBER AND ODOR
ELIMINATOR is a product that attracts and traps excess moisture to eliminate
musty odors and prevent damage to valuable possessions.
It is designed for use in any storage environment where stagnant air and
excess moisture are a problem. The product comes in a pouch with a white strip
that faces up and has a net weight of 10.5 oz (297 g). The product is
manufactured, marketed, and distributed by W.M. Barr & Co., Inc. under a
license from Church & Dwight Co., Inc.
Precautions
The product contains calcium chloride and is an eye irritant. It is harmful
if swallowed, and first aid must be administered immediately if ingested or in
contact with eyes or skin. The Poison Control Center should be contacted at
1-800-222-1222 if ingested.
The product must be kept out of reach of pets and children.
Duration
The duration of the product will vary based on temperature and humidity. It
can last up to six months.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the pouch from the clear plastic envelope and shake it for five seconds to activate it.
- Remove the container lid and place one pouch into the chamber with the white strip facing up.
- Place the product in storage environments to help protect stored goods from excess moisture and musty odors, such as closets, storage bins, attics, and basements.
- After six months, dispose of the pouch in the trash and replace it with a new product.
In Case of Spills
If the product is punctured or damaged, spills may occur. The following instructions should be followed based on the surface type:
- Hard surfaces: Wipe with a damp towel and wash the towel as usual.
- Carpets: Dry as much as possible with a damp towel. Wet the spot with cool water and press dry with a dry towel. Repeat and wash the towel as usual.
- Clothing: Hand wash all fabrics with cool water.
- Leather/Metal: Do not allow the product to contact leather or metal.
The manufacturer is not responsible for leaks caused by misuse or spills.
Directions For Use
For use in storage:
- Remove pouch from clear plastic envelope. Shake for 5 seconds to activate.
- Remove container lid and place one (1) pouch into chamber with white strip facing up.
- Place product in storage environments to help protect stored goods from excess moisture and musty odors (ex. closets, storage bins, attics, etc.).
- After 6 months*, dispose of pouch in trash and replace with new product.
Suggested Uses
In Case Of Spills Caused By Puncture Or Damage To Product:
Hard Surfaces: Wipe with damp towel. Wash towel as usual.
Carpets: Dry as much as possible with damp towel. Wet spot with cool
water and press dry with dry towel. Repeat. Wash towel as usual.
Clothing: Hand wash all fabrics with cool water.
Leather/Metal: Do not allow product to contact leather or metal.

CAUTION: EYE IRRITANT. HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED.

First Aid: For eye contact, remove any contact lenses and ush with water
for 15 minutes. Get immediate
medical attention. For skin contact, wash with plenty of soap and water. If
irritation persists, get medical attention. If ingested, call the Poison
Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 or get
immediate medical attention.
