General

This manual describes the installation, operation and maintenance of the unit and serves as an important source of information and reference. The knowledge of all safety instructions and handling instructions creates the conditions for the safe and proper operation of this machine. Moreover you have to respect the norms for the application of the instrument applicable to local safety regulations and general safety rules.
The manual is part of the product and has to be available in the immediate vicinity of the device for the installation, operation, maintenance and cleaning personnel at all times.

Transport, Packaging and Storage
Upon delivery, you must check immediately for completeness and transit damages. If an external damage is detected do not accept the delivery or just under reserve. The extent of damage is to be noted on the delivery note of the transporter. The damage or complaint has to be reported immediately to your supplier. Otherwise complaints or claims for damages are excluded.

Safety and Usage Instructions

The unit is built to the current rules of the art. Danger could be generated with this appliance, if used improperly or not according to specifications. The knowledge of the contents of the manual is one of the requirements to protect you from danger, and to avoid mistakes and to operate the device safely and smoothly.
To avoid danger and to ensure the optimal performance, no modifications or alterations may be made which have not been specifically authorized by the manufacturer. The device may be operated in a technically flawless and reliable condition.
The information on occupational safety is related to the current regulations of the European Union valid at the time of manufacture of the device. The operator is required to determine the conformity of the designated safety measures with the current state of regulations and comply with new regulations during the entire life of the equipment. Outside the European Union the site of operation applicable safety laws and local regulations have to be respected.
In addition to the safety instructions in this manual you must follow and comply on generally applicable safety and accident prevention regulations for the range of the instrument and the applicable environmental regulations.

Instructions for use

This unit is designed for commercial use. Designed, constructed and operated only by qualified personnel in professional kitchens. The reliability of the device is only guaranteed if used as specified in the manual. All technical procedures, including the erection and maintenance shall be performed exclusively by a qualified service technician.
The Conveyer toaster is intended only for heating and roasting of bread, toast.
This device is not determined to be used by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for the safety or have received instructions on how to use the device.
**PLEASE NOTE:**

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
  • Keep this instructions carefully. If the device is passed to a third person, the manual must be handed over.
  • All persons using the equipment must comply with the specifications in the manual and follow the safety instructions.

Only operate the machine in enclosed spaces.
Any use of the device beyond its intended use and / or otherwise is prohibited and is considered to be improper.
Any claims against the manufacturer and / or its agents for damages resulting from improper use of the equipment are excluded. If not used properly the operator is liable for all damages alone.

The controls are described based on the Mod. shown below. Please note that this model is selected only as an example to describe. For the specific model features please refer to the model overview.

Installation and Connection of the Conveyer toaster
Safety instructions
WARNING! Electric Shock Hazard!

  1. The unit may be operated only from properly installed electrical outlets with a single touch!
  2. Device can cause injury if not correctly installed!
  3. Prior to installing the data of the local power grid must be compared with the technical specifications of the device (the type plate)!
  4. Connect the device only in accordance!
  5. Do not unplug the device from the socket with the cord!
  6. The power cable must not come into contact with hot parts!
  7. Make sure that the cable is exposed to heat sources and not in contact with sharp edges!
    Do not let the cord hang down from the table or the bar!

WARNING! Hot Surface!
During the operation, some parts of the appliance become very hot. To avoid burns, do not touch the hot parts of the device!

  1. Do not use this appliance if it is not working properly, damaged or dropped to the ground.
  2. Do not use any accessories or spare parts that were not recommended by the manufacturer. This could pose a danger to the user or cause damage to the equipment and cause personal injury. In addition the warranty expires.
  3. Do not route cables over carpeting or other heat insulation. Do not cover the cables. Keep the cables away from work areas and do not submerge in water.
  4. Do not pull the cord for moving the device. Before moving the unit always disconnect the power cord.
  5. Do not wrap the cord around the device and do not bend it.
  6. Protect the device from rain water, humidity and moisture.
  7. During operation do not move and do not tip over the device.

ATTENTION!
The installation and maintenance of the equipment must be carried out only by qualified personal!

  1. Unpack the unit and remove all packing material. Peel off the protective cover from the device.
    If adhesive residue remains, remove them with a suitable solvent.

  2. To handle the weight of the device place the unit on a flat and safe place which is not heat sensitive.

  3. Do never place the device on a flammable surface (such as: table cloth, carpet, etc.) or in the vicinity of combustible and flammable materials.

  4. Do not place the unit near open fires, heaters or other heat sources.

  5. Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm from all sides.

  6. Set the device so that the plug is accessible to disconnect the device quickly from the network if necessary.

Operation

Please follow the steps below before first usage of your conveyer toaster:

  • Connect the equipment into a grounded single outlet. The unit must be grounded in a sufficient manner.

  • Turn on the unit by pressing the POWER-switch. The power indicator light (red) lights up.

  • Preheat the device at temperature step 1 and leave it on for about 20 min, after at step 3 for 10 min.
    Escaping industrial fats from inside can lead to smoke. This smoke is not harmful and will be there no longer on subsequent use of the device.

  • Set the desired temperature step. The chain have a constant speed.

  • After setting the desired temperature, the temperature indicator light (green) lights up, indicating that the unit is heating up.

  • Take the unit into operation.

  • To switch off the device, bring the temperature step in position “0” and the POWER-switch to “OFF”.

WARNING! Risk of burns!
The unit will become very hot during operation! Do not touch the hot surfaces of the device. Use the handle of the device.
Operation:

  • When the set temperature step is reached, the temperature indicator light goes off and you can start with toasting.
  • Put the toast in front of the machine on the chain.
  • You can choose, if the toast is ready, falls behind or in front.

WARNING!
Do not clean the device directly with a water jet! So not use a pressure water jet. Allow to cool, before cleaning the device!

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning instructions:

  • Clean the machine every day.
  • Disconnect the unit from the power supply (pull the plug!) and allow it to cool down before being cleaned.
  • Clean it only dry or with a damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture, oil or grease will enter the unit.
  • To clean the body, do not use metallic or sharp objects.
  • Clean the exterior body with a soft cloth and mild detergent.

Maintenance instructions:

  • From time to time check the power cable for damage. Never use a machine when the cable is damaged.
    If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by customer service or a qualified electrician to avoid danger.

  • In case of damage or malfunctions, contact your dealer.

  • Maintenance and repairs must be performed only by qualified personnel using original spare parts and accessories. Never attempt to carry out repairs to the equipment itself.

Disposal
At the end of its life your old unit is to be disposed of according to national regulations. It is advisable to contact a specialist disposal company. To exclude an abuse and the associated risks, please make sure that your old machine is unusable prior to disposal and poses no danger to others.

In case of malfunction, please contact your dealer.
