Daktronics DD4656001 DMSTM Kmaps

This quick guide provides information about how to create, edit, and assign a Kmap to a campaign in the Adflow DMS.

New Kmap

  1. Select Kmaps module from left-side menu. Refer to Figure 1.
  2. Select New Kmap button.
  3. Enter a name for the Kmap.
  4. Assign a home key from the pencil menu and then click save. Refer to Figure 2. Figure 2: Assign Home Key
    Note: The home key is an interactive experience that a user will access when interacting with the kiosk or display.
    Note: Only approved spots can be assigned.

Build Experience

If your experience consists of multiple parts (Flash files for example) or you are adding videos to a video library experience, you will need to add each file as a key. In order to add one or more keyed spots,
follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Go to the Roadmap tab to build the experience. Refer to Figure 3. Figure 3: Roadmap Tab

  2. Select Add New.

  3. Enter a key name. Refer to Figure 4.

    Note: When adding a spot for a Video Library, the key name must use the naming convention:
    Video_#. Refer to Figure 4.

  4. Select the Spot from the Spot Tree and click OK.

  5. Repeat steps 1-4 to add more content.
    Note: For a Video Library experience, ensure to tag the content on the Spot Detail tab if the button needs to appear on the touch screen.

Edit or Delete
  1. You can edit spots by selecting the pencil icon. You can delete spots by selecting the x icon. Refer to Figure 5. Figure 5: Edit or Delete a Keyed Spot
Attract Loop
  1. You can create an Attract Loop from the Roadmap tab to play content when the touch screen is not being used. Select Attract Loop Spots from the dropdown menu on the Roadmap tab. Refer to Figure 6. Figure 6: Attract Loop Spots
  2. Select Add New.
  3. Select one or more spots and select OK. Refer to Figure 7. Figure 7: Spot Tree
    Note: Attract Loop Spots are located in the Digital Signage Spots folder.

Assign to Campaign

  1. Approve your Kmap.
  2. Once the Kmap is in Approved status, it is now ready to be assigned to a campaign.
  3. The user can see what campaign the kmap is assigned to under the Activites tab.
