Before Getting Started
- Ensure you have access to your email to verify your MOBI Smart Account.
- Have your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network Name & Password ready.

Product Functions
MOBI Otoscope Breakdown
The MOBI Ear, Nose, & Throat Smart Wi-Fi Otoscope is a sleek and reliable
multi-purpose camera with a 3.5mm lens and a rechargeable battery.
Account Setup
1 – Register
If you are a first-time MOBI Smart user, please create an account.
- Open the MOBI Smart App & tap “Register.”
- Agree to the Privacy Policy terms & conditions.
- Enter a valid email address & tap “Get Verification Code.”
- Check your email for the verification code & then create your password.
2 – Login
Once you’ve registered for an account, tap “Login” and enter your email
address and password.
Troubleshooting: I f you lose access to your login information, tap
“Forgot Password” to reset your password and regain access.
After logging in, you’ll see a screen that reads “Add Device.”
3 – Add Device – EZ Mode
- Tap “Add Device” or the “+” icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Tap on “MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope.”
Note: For adding additional devices, tap the “+” icon in the top righthand corner, and find your device.
4 – Reset Device
After selecting “MOBI E.N.T Otoscope,” you’ll be prompted to reset your
device.
Press & hold the power button for 10 seconds until the battery indicator
blinks, then release.
Tap “Next” to confirm.
5 – Setup Wi-Fi
- Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name & password.
- Tap “Next” to confirm.
Note: This product only connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal.
Note: Please get in touch with your Internet Service Provider if you
cannot identify your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network. (Many modern routers include an
automatic 5GWi-Fi signal connection.)
Note: If you are using the MOBI Smart
App on an Android device, your smartphone may display this message during the
Wi-Fi setup.
Ignore this prompt and tap “Carry on” to continue with the connection process.
6 – Connecting
After tapping “Next,” the MOBI Smart App will display your connection status.
Note: If your connection times out, your smartphone may be connected to a
5GHz Wi-Fi network.
Please check your Wi-Fi name & password, and try again.
7 – Success
Once connected successfully, your MOBI Smart App will prompt you to tap the
blue “+” icon to complete the setup process.
After completion, you can rename your device for easier management or leave it
as is and edit it at a later time.
Tap “Done” to go to the MOBI E.N.T. main screen.
8 – EZ Mode Use
Congratulations, you’ve set up your device in EZ mode. To use your MOBI E.N.T.
Otoscope, tap the blue “VIEW” button.
Note: In EZ Mode, the MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope is only viewable while
connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network used to connect the device under step 5
– “Wi-Fi Setup.”
The following prompt may appear on your MOBI Smart App, suggesting you connect
automatically to AP mode.
Switch to AP mode for better images and a more stable connection.
Tap “Switch Now” if you wish to connect your device to AP mode.
If not, tap “Cancel.”
9 – Add Device – AP Mode
The otoscope includes an additional operation method called AP Mode.
It generates a direct hotspot signal that provides higher picture quality and
allows users to utilize the otoscope outside their home network.
- To switch to AP mode, tap the settings icon in the top righthand corner.
10 – Settings
After entering the settings page, tap “AP Mode” under Advanced Settings.
Note: The settings page is also where users can customize aspects of the
MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope, such as:
- Device Name
- Shared Users
- Notifications
11 – Set a Password
After selecting “AP Mode,” you’ll be redirected to a screen that will:
- Display your AP Hotspot signal name
- Prompt you to create a custom, 8-digit password for the signal.
After creating a password, your Otoscope will create a hotspot signal. Your smartphone will connect to this signal as if connecting to a standard Wi-Fi network signal.
12 – Settings
After creating a password, you’ll receive a screen confirmation that your AP
Hotspot signal has been properly generated.
Tap on “Connect” to be redirected to your smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings.
Note: When connecting to the AP Hotspot with an iOS device, your
smartphone may display “Not Connected to the Internet.” Ignore this prompt.
13 – Select AP Hotspot
In your smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings, select the Network signal that reads: SL-
MOBI WiFi-XXXX.
Once connected, return to the app and the MOBI E.N.T. Otsocpe’s main interface
to view the Otoscope Camera.
Once in the MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope’s main interface, iOS users may see the
following prompt:
“The Wi-Fi Network ‘SL-MOBI WiFi-XXXX’ does not appear to be connected to the
Internet.”
This prompt appears because your mobile device is connected to an AP Hotspot
that exclusively connects the smartphone to the MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope.
Ignore this and tap “Keep Trying Wi-Fi.”
Viewing Camera
14 – Disabling AP Mode
To disable AP Mode and set the MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope back to EZ Mode, return to
Step 10 and tap “AP Mode” under Advanced Settings. Then tap “Disable AP Mode.”
Note: If you don’t disable AP mode, you must connect your smartphone
device to the MOBI E.N.T. Otoscope AP Hotspot signal before each use.
15 – Viewing the Camera
Once you’ve set up your MOBI E.N.T.
Otoscope Camera in either AP/EZ mode, return to the device’s main interface
and tap the blue “VIEW” button.

MOBI® warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. Should the product prove to be defective during the warranty period, we would either replace or repair the product at our option without charge. After the warranty period, a service charge will apply for replacing parts and labor costs. To obtain warranty service, you must return the product complete with its original parts & accessories and a copy of the original purchase, gift, or registry to us. This warranty does not cover damage caused by tampering, accident, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, or connection to an improper power supply. There will be a charge for repair caused for such damage. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages and any liability other than those stated above. MOBI reserves the right to modify or discontinue the offer by posting a notice on the app or website.
General Information
This otoscope camera is a portable, handheld video camera with a short focal length; it’s compatible with iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and tablets. The high-resolution camera provides great video quality. There are 6 LED lights on the tip of the camera, which make the light path and increase the visual field of view.

caused by not following this manual.
Maintenance
Use a damp cloth or mild, water-based cleaner to clean this device. Fully
charge the battery before you leave this device idle for a long time to
prevent damage to the battery.
Storage and transport:
Improper transport can harm the device. Always transport this device In the
provided box to prevent damage.
Information on disposal:
**** Electronic equipment does not belong in domestic waste but must be
disposed of in accordance with the applicable statutory provision.
Safety Information
When operating your equipment:
Warning! This product cannot be used for the diagnosis and treatment of
any patient unless specified by a physician.
Warning! When using this product, please make sure that the product has
an intact appearance and does not have any missing accessories.
If the ear canal is not perfectly straight, gently adjust the position of the
otoscope to view your ear drum dearly.
The camera’s focal length is fixed at 1-3cm. Please adjust the distance
between the camera lens and your ear if you can not clearly see the image.
Power Safety – When connecting your equipment to a power source:
- Check the voltage rating before you connect this equipment to an electrical outlet.
- Use only branded AC adapter approved for use with this device.
- Place the AC adapter and the equipment in a ventilated area, such as on a desktop or floor, when you use it to charge the battery.
- The AC adapter and the equipment may become hot while charging.
