Instructions For Safe Operation & Use
- Service of this device should be completed by qualified service personnel, do not attempt to service this pulse oximeter yourself.
- Do not use the oximeter in situations where an alarm notification may be needed.
- Prolonged use of the oximeter may require a periodical change to the site of the sensor.
- It is recommended to change the sensor site, check skin integrity, circulatory status, and correct alignment at least every two hours.
- Sp02 measurements may be adversely affected in the presence of high ambient light, therefore, shielding the Oximeter from light during use.
The following medical reasons may cause inaccurate measurements and should be avoided:
- Placement of a sensor on an extremity with a blood pressure monitor/cuff, arterial catheter, or another intravascular line.
- The patient has hypotension or severe vasoconstriction, anemia, or hypothermia.
- The patient is in cardiac arrest.
Note: Fingernail polish or false nails may cause inaccurate Sp02 readings.
Installation, Setup & Operation
The MOBI Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is intended for non-invasive spot-check measurement of functional oxygen. It is used to measure human hemoglobin (Hb) saturation (Sp02) and pulse rate (HR) through the finger. This product is suitable for personal and clinical use (e.g. hospital, surgery, pediatrics, etc.)
