Device Overview

The MOBI Smart Weighing Scale includes a sleek, glass surface that is used to measure your total body composition. When stepping on the scale, ensure that your feet are placed correctly for best results. Before using, ensure that your scale is placed on a completely FLAT surface.

Long press the RESET button for 10 seconds to factory reset/set device in Pairing mode. Short press the reset button to switch between the three units of weight measurement.

• Kgs. – Kilograms (International)
• St. – Stone (U.K.)

The battery compartment is found on the underside of the scale and requires 3x +AAA batteries.

Connecting to App

1. Ensure you have access to your email to verify your MOBI Smart Account.
2. Have your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network Name & Password ready.

Register

If you are a first time MOBI Smart user, please create an account.

1. Open the MOBI Smart App & tap “Register.”
2. Agree to the Privacy Policy terms & conditions.
3. Enter a valid email address & verify.
4. Create a password and login

Add Device

Once you’ve accessed your MOBI Smart account move to the main Device tab.

• Tap “Add Device” or tap on the “+” icon on the top right hand corner.
• Select Smart Weight Scale

Setup 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

• Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name & password.
• Tap “Next” to confirm.

If you cannot identify your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network, please contact your Internet Service Provider. After confirming, you’ll be prompted to reset your device.

Connect

Follow the instructions on the MOBI Smart App and the device. Your app will begin a 2-minute countdown before it notifies you of its pairing status.

Sucess
If your device has successfully paired, you may rename your device for easier management or edit it at a later time.

1. After setting up your device, select a user profile and add your height, age, sex, etc.
2. The MOBI Smart App will use this information when generating results for your body position data, such as BMI, Body Fat %, Basal Metabolism, etc.
3. On the MOBI Smart App, tap “Setup” to select your unit of weight measurement (lbs., kg, St.)

Operating Device

1. Place scale on a FLAT surface, and remove your shoes, socks, and any heavy items on you.
2. Use one foot to lightly step on and off the scale and wait for the screen to display: 0.0 lbs./kg.
3. Step onto the scale with both feet and wait for your scale to display four icons.
4. Step off the scale and open the MOBI Smart App, then “Claim” the recorded weight data that matches the weight displayed on your scale.
5. To view your body composition data on the app, tap on “Data Details.”

Battery Safety

• Use the batteries recommended.
• Make sure the battery compartment is secure.
• Fit batteries correctly, observing the plus and minus marks on the battery and compartment..
• Store unused batteries in their packaging and keep away from metal objects which could cause a short circuit. Remove dead batteries from the scales.
• Remove batteries from the scales if they will not be used for a prolonged period.
• Keep loose batteries away from young children.
• Seek medical advice if a battery has been swallowed.

WARNINGS:

• Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
• Never attempt to recharge ordinary batteries.
• Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, or Rechargeable Batteries.

Changing the battery

1. Open the battery door on the underside of the scale by releasing the clip and lifting off the door.
2. Remove the used battery and replace it with a new one.
3. Replace the battery door.

Use and Care

• Ensure your scales are on a flat, even, and firm surface. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces.
• Always weigh yourself with the same scale placed on the same surface. Uneven floors may affect the reading.
• The surface of the scale will be slippery if wet. Keep dry!Weigh yourself without clothing and footwear before meals and always at the same time of day for the most accurate results.
• For better accuracy, taking the measurement within 2 hours of waking up is not advised.
• Keep the scale in a dry place to protect the electronic components.
• Clean after use with a lightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or immerse the product in water.
• Avoid overloading the scale; otherwise, permanent damage may occur.
• Do not disassemble the scale, other than to replace the battery.
• Do not store the scale in an upright position when not in use as this will drain the battery.
• Avoid excessive impact or vibration to the unit, such as dropping the scale onto the floor, or objects onto the scales. A user who has any metal material inserted into his/her body may get differences in measurements of body fat reading.
• Pacemaker users are advised against using this device.

The precision of the data detected by the scale can be altered in the following cases:

• high alcohol levels
• high levels of caffeine or drugs
• after an intense sports activity
• during an illness
• during pregnancy
• after heavy meals
• in presence of dehydration problems
• your personal data (height, age, gender) have not been input correctly
• if you have wet or dry feet persons with swollen leg

Trouble Shooting

When the LCD screen displays “LO”
You should install a new battery

When the LCD displays “ERR” and stays at “ERR”
It indicates that the maximum weight has been exceeded

When the LCD displays Weight but no analyze data in-app or displays” ERR2”

• Make sure you are barefoot when standing on the platform
• Make sure your foot is touching the electrodes on the right and left side
• Make sure you enter your profile parameters in full
• Make sure your WELCOME HOME page shows the scale is connected
• Make sure the scale under WIFI and the router have not been changed.

Note 1 : If the above did not solve the issue, enter into the Device Manage Remove device first and then repeat the setup process.

Note 2 : The speed of values transferred is based on the strength of the WIFI signal

To obtain warranty service, you must return the product complete with its original parts & accessories and a copy of the original purchase, gift, or registry to us. This warranty does not cover damage caused by tampering, accident, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, or connection to an improper power supply. There will be a charge for repair caused for such damage. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages and any liability other than stated above. MOBI reserves the right to modify or discontinue the offer by posting a notice on the app or website.
