Cleaning and Storing Your Hiboy-J5
Use a wet cloth to wipe the mainframe clean. Hard to remove dirt can be scrubbed with a toothbrush and toothpaste, then cleaned with a wet cloth Hint: Do not wash Hiboy-J5 with alcohol, gas, diesel, acetone, or another corrosive and volatile chemical solvent. These substances may damage the appearance and internal structure. Do not wash the Hiboy-J5 with a power washer or high- pressure hose. Make sure that Hiboy-J5 is powered of charging cable is plugged out and the rubber cap on the charging port is tightly sealed, otherwise, you may expose yourself to electric shock or cause the device failure.
Store your Hiboy-J5 in a dry and cool place. Do not store it in an outdoor environment for a long time. Exposure to sunshine or hot/cold outdoor environment will accelerate the aging of the appearance and the battery life.

Maintenance of Battery Pack
Do not place the battery in a high-temperature or low-temperature environment which is over 50℃ or below -20℃. Do not throw the battery pack into the fire.
Other items for attention in the maintenance of the batter refer to the nameplate of the battery pack which is below the vehicle.

A well-maintained battery pack may be in sound performance even after 20 thousand kilometers’ riding. Charge the battery every time you stop riding and avoid exhausting all the power in daily use. In addition, when using at normal temperature, the battery pack can play high distance mileage and performance; while using in an environment below 0, endurance and performance of the battery would decline.
Typically, when the temperature is -20 distance mileage maybe half of the normal temperature of 25 ℃. Distance mileage of battery will recover when the temperature rises. You may check the details in App.

Hint: Typically, the fully charged battery, if mounted on the Hiboy-J5, will be exhausted within 120 to 180 days under the standby mode. And a low- power battery, if mounted on the Hiboy-J5, will be exhausted within 30 to 60days under the standby mode. Remember to charge the battery after each riding. Over-draining of power may cause unrecoverable damage to the battery. Intelligent chips inside the battery shall record the charge-discharge condition of the battery, damage caused by over-discharge will not be covered under the Limited Warranty. (Non-specialized person is forbidden to disassemble battery pack!)

Notes
The IP Rating of the mainframe is IP54, IP Rating of the battery pack is IPX6.
