APPLICATION DETAILS

  • PREPARATION: In the event metal areas are exposed and rust (oxidation) is present, sand the area with 220 grit sandpaper to remove rust to bare metal. Clean the application area using a clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol for best adhesion of the product.
  • VENTILATION: Open a window or place a fan for proper ventilation during application and clean up with solvents.
  • PROTECTION: Wear nitrile gloves to prevent contact with skin.
  • CLEAN UP: Use Isopropyl alcohol or lacquer thinner to clean up spills or overage.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

  1. Sand with 400 grit sandpaper
  2. Clean with acetone or nail polish remover.
  3. SHAKE WELL
  4. Using the supply brush apply the mixture color to the chipped or damaged area in layers.
  5. Allow to tack dry for 7-10 minutes between layers.
    *A handheld blow dryer can be used to apply moderate heat between layers.
  6. Apply several layers to build up the product for the desired fill or color.
  7. Continue until paint is even with surface.
  8. Keep dry until cured (2 hours)
