Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Popular with multi-talented composite repair pros for filling and glazing chips, cracks, deep gouges, fillets, holes and voids on FRP composite surfaces including, bath ware, boats, marine, automotive, power sports, RV and industrial applications. Excellent for pre-refinish repairs on dry surfaces or where water drains and is not wet 24/7. Use alone or color coat for better cosmetic match.

  • Hardness characteristics close to Acrylic and Gel coat.
  •  Excellent putty to work, sand and glaze (Carvable).
  • Epoxy fast-Quick cure 1-3 minutes.
  •  Putty closely matches most bath ware white, requiring less coating to cover filled areas.
  • Minimal pinhole fairing compound.
  • Excellent adhesion.
  •  Minimal shrinkage fill.
  • Avoid Auto body, Automotive, bondo fillers when repairing composites associated with water and moisture environments.

APPLICATION DETAILS
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  •   DAMAGE PREPARATION: A Dremel type tool can be used to grind the damaged area ready for Poly Filler.
  • SANDING: For best results wet sand (with wet/dry sandpaper and water) 100, 220 and 320 grit sandpaper.
  • SAFETY: Use proper ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

  • Prepare the chip, gouge or crack by using a grinding tool, putty knife, razor knife or other sharp tool.
  • Be sure to create a “V” shape going through the depth of the surface (color) stopping at the fiberglass structure – 1/16” to 3/16” deep.
  • Dispense a desired amount of Poly Filler into the mixing cup. Add 3% to 5% cream hardener to the Poly Filler and mix thoroughly using the provided stir stick.
  • Then apply mixture to the repair area. Be sure to over fill the crack or chip slightly.
  • The mixed material must be used within 5 minutes.
  • Wet sand so that the contour of the repair matches the surrounding area starting with the 100 grit and finishing with the 320 grit.
