APPLICATION DETAILS
- PREPARATION: In the event metal areas are exposed and rust (oxidation) is present, sand the area with 220 grit sandpaper to remove rust to bare metal. Clean the application area using a clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol for best adhesion of the product.
- VENTILATION: Open a window or place a fan for proper ventilation during application and clean up with solvents.
- PROTECTION: Wear nitrile gloves to prevent contact with skin.
- CLEAN UP: Use Isopropyl alcohol or lacquer thinner to clean up spills or overage.
INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
- Sand with 400 grit sandpaper
- Clean with acetone or nail polish remover.
- SHAKE WELL
- Using the supply brush apply the mixture color to the chipped or damaged area in layers.
- Allow to tack dry for 7-10 minutes between layers.
*A handheld blow dryer can be used to apply moderate heat between layers. - Apply several layers to build up the product for the desired fill or color.
- Continue until paint is even with surface.
- Keep dry until cured (2 hours).
