SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions. Incorrect use will invalidate the warranty.

The product is only intended for household use.

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

The product must only be connected to an earthed power point.

Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged.
-
Do not expose the product and its power cord to rain, moisture or running water, and do not immerse in water or any other liquid.

Keep the product, the power cord and plug away from sources of heat.

Pull out the plug when the product is not in use. Store the product if possible in the original pack.

Do not touch the product, the power cord or plug with wet hands. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.

Keep the product out of the reach of children.

Never leave the product unattended when switched on. Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and allow the product to cool before putting away.

Place the product on a level, stable surface.

The keep-warm surface on the product gets hot when in use – risk of burn injury.

Do not wash the product or its accessories in a dishwasher.

Do not dismantle the product or attempt to repair it. Repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre to ensure safe use.

If the power cord or plug are damaged they must be replaced by an authorised service centre to ensure safe use.

Do not use the product if the keep-warm surface is damaged. If the glass is cracked it will be possible for spillage or detergent to get in – risk of electric shock.

Clean the glass carefully. Do not apply liquid or detergent on hot surfaces – risk of scalding and/ or harmful fumes.

The product is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.

This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved
with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision. -
Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of
children less than 8 years old.

- Ovenware and baking trays can be put on the keep-warm surface. Cookware can be moved directly from the oven to the keep-warm hob to keep dishes warm and ready to serve. Do not put food directly on the keep-warm surface.
- Keeps the first course warm while the rest of the food is cooking.
- A nice way of serving hot desserts.
USE
- Clean the product before using for the first time.
- Plug the plug into an earthed power point.
- Move the switch from Oto I to start.
- The status light goes on to show that warming is in progress. The status light goes off when product is in keep-warm mode.
– Allow the product to warm up for at least 10 minutes before putting anything on it. The maximum temperature for the keep-warm surface is about 130°C.
– Always cover food on the keep-warm hob to maintain the temperature and moisture.
NOTE:

Do not put food directly on the keep warm surface.

Food to be kept warm must be put into suitable cookware.

Do not put cookware, containers or packages made of plastic on the product.
-
The product is NOT intended to thaw or cook food.
-
The product has automatic temperature control and overheating protection for extra safety.
IMPORTANT:
The first time the product is used it may smoke and smell a little. This is
completely normal and soon stops.
MAINTENANCE
- Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and wait until the product has completely cooled before cleaning and/or maintenance.
- Clean the product with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent.

Do not immerse the product, the power cord or plug, in water or any other liquid.

Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergent. Make sure that no water gets into the product

Do not carry out any maintenance not recommended by the manufacturer. Procedures not described in these instructions must only be carried out by an authorised service centre.
