Initial operation
Pull out the battery compartment on the rear and insert the battery in the
slot. Pay attention to the correct polarity. Insert the battery compartment.
When you insert the battery, all the icons on the LCD display will briefly
light up for 3 seconds, the hour display will start to flash for 30 seconds,
and the device will detect indoor/out temperature and Hi/Lo Outdoor
Temperature.
Function keys
Manual time setting
- Press and hold the SET/°C/°F button for 3 seconds. The Hour displays starts to flash. Now use the MODE/IN/OUT button to set the correct hour.
- Press SET/°C/°F to confirm your setting. The Minute displays starts to flash. Now use the MODE/IN/OUT button to set the correct minute.
- Press SET/°C/°F to confirm your setting. The AM/PM hour mode will display. Now the use MODE/IN/OUT button to set the correct AM/PM hour mode.
Press SET/°C/°F to confirm your setting and to end the setting procedures. The clock mode will be displayed.
Ice warning
- If the recorded temperature falls between – C to+ 1 °C (26.6 °F to 33.8 °F), the ice warning indicator (7) will flash. It will stop flashing once the temperature is out of this range.
Temperature
- In temperature mode, press MODE/IN/OUT briefly to switch between indoor and outdoor temperature display. The Hi/Lo record will display accordingly.
- Press and hold MODE/IN/OUT for 3 seconds to switch between the time mode and Hi/Lo record mode freely.
C/°F temperature display
- The temperature is displayed in either °C or 0 F. Briefly pressing the SET/°C/°F button allows you to switch between the individual modes.
Temperature trend
- The product will scan and display the current temperature every 30 seconds.
- The current temperature will be compared with the previous record: the up arrow (2) will display for a 1 ° increase; the down arrow (2) will display for a 1 ° fall. No arrow displays if the temperature changes +/-1 ° within one hour.
Note
- If the temperature reading is below the specified ranges, LL.L will be displayed.
- If the temperature reading is above the specified ranges, HH.H will be displayed.
