Introduction
To get the most out of your new insect killer, please read these instructions before use. Please also save the instructions in case you need to refer to them at a later date.

Special safety instructions
The insect killer must not be used in garages, barns, or places where there is
dust or infl flammable fumes. This insect killer is for indoor use only.
Do not insert foreign objects into the insect killer when it is on.
Make sure that children, adults, and pets do not touch the live mesh inside
the insect killer.
The insect killer is only intended for indoor use in private households.
Never insert metal objects through the grille when the insect killer is in
use.
Keep flammable objects at a safe distance.
Check the supply voltage before plugging the appliance in.
Hang the insect killer in a place where children cannot reach it.
Always keep the insect killer and its cord out of the reach of children.
Children must not play with the insect killer.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the insect
killer.
The insect killer can be used suspended or in a standing position. If used
hanging, it must only be hung by the chain and the suspension point must be
able to tolerate a load of at least 4 kg. If used standing, it must be placed
on a fl at the surface.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a professional to avoid
hazards.
The insect killer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
a physical, sensory or mental disability or any person unable to operate the
appliance unless they are supervised or have been instructed how to use the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Use
Hang the insect killer by chain (1) at the desired location at a height where
children cannot reach it. Plug the insect killer in and switch it on.
The ultraviolet light from the insect killer’s UV-A tubes (5) attracts
insects, which are killed when they come into contact with the high-voltage
mesh (4) behind the outer grille (3). The dead insects collect in the tray
(6) at the bottom of the insect killer.
Cleaning
Always unplug the insect killer from the mains before cleaning it. Remove the
tray from the insect killer regularly and empty it of dead insects. Remove the
outer grille, if necessary, and clean the inside of the insect killer using a
brush or cloth. Do not use liquids, sprays, or foam for cleaning. Make sure
not to damage the high-voltage mesh or the UV-A tubes.
