SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the operating instructions carefully before use.

  • Always follow the safety instructions when using electrical appliances.
  • Read all the instructions carefully before use.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
  • Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the appliance to an authorized service center to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
  • A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorized service center, or other qualified personnel, to ensure safe use.
  • Keep the appliance under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.
  • Keep your hands and utensils outside of the jug when the appliance is in use, otherwise there is a risk of serious personal injury and/or material damage.

INSTALLATION

WARNING!
Do not plug in the plug until the product is fully assembled.

  1. Remove all packaging material.

  2. Wash all the parts except for the motor unit with warm water and washing-up liquid.
    Allow to dry.

  3. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.

  4. Fit the pulp container to the tap on the motor unit. The pulp container should rest against the motor unit.

  5. Put the spout cover motor unit. Check that the lip of the spout cover hooks correctly onto the pulp container, so that it is held in place.

  6. Hold the edges of the centrifugal strainer and fit it on the drive axle on the top of the motor unit.

  7. Press down the centrifugal strainer on the drive axle until it clicks in place.
    NOTE:
    The centrifugal strainer may need to be turned to fit correctly.

  8. Put the lid on the spout cover and pulp container. Make sure to align the tabs on the lid with the tabs on the spout cover

  9. Put the feeder in the funnel on the lid.

  10. Put the locking arm in place over the lid.
    The product is now ready to use!

USE

  1. Place the product on a level, stable surface.

  2. Plug in the plug and start the product.

  3. Place the juice beaker under the spout (1) and take out the feeder (2).

  4. Put a small amount of food in the funnel.

  5. Put the feeder in the funnel. Carefully press down the feeder. Pressing too hardpan reduce the amount of fruit juice.

  6. Turn the power switch to the required setting.
    O: Off.
    I: For soft and juicy fruit and vegetables.
    II: For harder fruit and vegetables.

  7. Take out the funnel, put in more food and continue processing. Repeat until the required consistency is obtained.

NOTE:

  • The juice beaker and pulp container soon fill up – make sure that they do not overflow.
  • Put the power switch in the off position when the processing is complete.
EMPTYING OF FRUIT PULP CONTAINER
  1. Put the switch in the off position and pull out the plug.
  2. Lower the locking arm (1).
  3. Take off the lid (8).
  4. Carefully remove the pulp container (12).
  5. Empty the pulp container.
Tips
  • Replace the feeder before starting the product to prevent splashing.
  • When preparing large amounts the centrifugal strainer must be regularly cleaned to prevent to prevent blockage.
  • Use fresh fruit and vegetables, they contain the most juice.
  • Harder and more fibrous fruit and vegetables such as banana, mango or avocado, are not suitable for making raw juice.
  • Blade vegetables such as cabbage and spinach can be prepared if they are rolled up and fed through the funnel.
  • The most suitable produce is oranges, grapefruit, lemon, lime, apple, melon, annas, tomato, cucumber and carrot.
  • Drink the fruit juice straight away for best taste.
  • Fresh apple juice can go brown on contact with air. This is quite natural and can be offset by adding lemon juice.
  • The left over pulp can be used for baking.
  • The raw juice can be diluted with fizzy or natural water.
  • The content can be composted.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
  1. Switch off the product and pull out the plug.
  2. Remove all loose parts by following the installation instructions in the reverse order. Handle the sharp blades in the centrifugal strainer carefully.
  3. Clean the motor unit with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Wipe thoroughly dry. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Wash the accessories in hot water and washing-up liquid. The accessories can be washed in a dishwasher, but this can make them mat.
  5. Handle the sharp blades in the bottom of centrifugal strainer carefully.
  6. Food residue can be removed from the blades in the centrifugal strainer with a small brush.
  7. Allow the parts to cool and dry well before putting them away. Store the product in a dry and clean place, out of the reach of children.
