PRODUCT PACKAGING
When unpacking the luminaire; note that the diffuser/base moldings of the product are not assembled (not fixed). Lie the box flat when removing the fitting from the carton.
PRODUCT ORIENTATION
- Ensure the Arrows in the base molding are pointing upwards.
- When fixing Horizontally (to a ceiling) the orientation is not crucial.
INSTALLATION DETAILS
To surface mount the product drill through the four illustrated holes on the back plate.
(This can then be used to mark the hole positions on the designated surface
.)
CABLE ENTRY
Before fixing to the surface
Remove the IP44 Grommet from the fitting and pierce from the rear. Fit the
grommet, with lead passing through, back into the cable entry hole
.
WIRING INTO PRODUCT
N.B. DO NOT PLACE OR REST ANYTHING ON THE LED BOARD IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION
DO NOT TOUCH THE LED CHIPS.
CONDUIT WIRING INTO PRODUCT
When using conduit trunking; remove the ‘Conduit Knock-Out’ on the right as you look at the product from the rear.
If through wiring with conduit remove both ‘Conduit Knock-Outs’.
THROUGH-WIRING PRODUCT
To through-wire, the product; remove the opposite cable exit knock outs on the base. Wire out of the back of the terminal block and run the lead down the center channel of the product. Clamp at the cable exit point for cable retention.
FITTING THE DIFFUSER
When fitting the diffuser, ensure that the ‘short skirt’ of the diffuser area is aligned with the ‘Wire way’ section of the base. Ribs in the Base must Align with cut outs in the Diffuser Skirt to fully engage.
NB Visual pips on the diffuser must align with the water-way relief cut out on the base. When the product is orientated correctly this will be at the bottom.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- The luminaire shall be installed in accordance with the IEE wiring regulations by a qualified electrician
- Ensure that the rated voltage and frequency requirements are compatible with the available mains supply.
- Do not carry out high voltage insulation test, i.e. 500/1000v this may damage internal components.
- The luminaire must be switched off during maintenance.
- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or a designated service agent or a suitably qualified person.
- Batteries used in emergency versions of this luminaire range are replaceable by a qualified electrician.
