Description
Hugum’s forehead and ear thermometer can be used on infants, kids, adults, and objects. For different age groups of humans, the device has three modes: ear forehead mode for infants older than three months, forehead mode for children, and forehead mode for adults. These modes can also be used to monitor the temperature of things. The newborn forehead thermometer is outfitted with cutting-edge infrared technology and a high-precision sensor, which allows it to check temperatures quickly—in just one second. Within 0.1°C, the temperature measurement is accurate. Depending on preference, measurement units can be changed between °F and °C. This non-contact thermometer alternates between ear and forehead mode automatically.
It has the ability to alternate between mute and unmute mode simultaneously. Additionally, it contains 40 sets of memory storage space. Additionally, it offers a number of helpful features, like automatic shutdown after 13 seconds of inactivity to conserve energy and switching between 0C and 0F. This thermometer’s functionality includes this. The orange light will switch on flashing and remain for 3 seconds with 3 brief beeps if the temperature is between 99.3°F (37.4 C) and 100.3, which is a warning sign of a fever. Our infrared thermometer satisfies the requirements for CE and ROHS certification. From the date of purchase, we give you a 12-month warranty. If you have any issues, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us; we’re here to help with anything.

How To Use
- Press the “measure button” (power icon) to turn the device on. (Please note that when the device is first opened, the LCD display screen will display “Lo”; this is a common occurrence. Wait until the temperature light stops flashing, at which point you can use the device to measure temperature.)
- Next, press the “measure button” to scan your forehead; make sure that the measurement distance between your forehead and the thermometer is no greater than 0.4 inches; only then will you be able to obtain the readings (a loud beep will follow);
- If you need to retake the test, please wait 5 to 10 seconds between each measurement and do not operate until the temperature light turns off (followed by a brief beep).
How To Avoid The Inaccuracy
- Please check to make sure the temperature sensor is clean.
- Please make sure that the forehead is free from any shade or wetness.
- When taking the ear temperature, remember to first clean the ear canal.
- The differences between the oral (0.5 to 1.0°F), forehead (0.3 to 0.5°F), and ear values are NORMAL. This is NOT a result of the thermometer’s error.
