- Avoid submerging the appliance and running water directly on the cooking surfaces.
- Use a cloth or paper towel to dry.
- Lightly spray the frying plates with cooking oil or cooking spray for the best results.
- Notice: Your sandwich maker may release a faint smoke or odor when it is heated for the first time. This is typical in the case of many heating devices. This has no impact on your appliance’s safety.
HOW TO USE
- When the Sandwich Maker is shut and plugged into a wall outlet, you’ll see that the power and ready lights turn on, signalling that the appliance has started preheating
- The baking temperature will be reached in about two and a half minutes, at which point the ready light will turn off.
- Lift the lid, then arrange the meat or other ingredients on the bottom frying plate
- Screw the lid on. Once more, the ready light will turn on.
- Cook for approximately 2 to 4 minutes, or until the ready light blinks once more, or until the food is golden brown, modifying the cooking duration to your own preference.
- To open the lid when the meal has finished cooking, use the handle. With the use of a plastic spatula, remove the food. Never use metal tongs or a knife since they can harm the cook plates’ non-stick finish.
- After you’re done cooking, take the plug out of the wall socket and leave the appliance open to cool.
CLEANING & CARE
- The Sandwich Maker should always be unplugged and given time to cool before cleaning. When the unit is only slightly heated, cleaning is simpler.
- The sandwich Maker does not require disassembly for cleaning. Never put the sandwich maker in the dishwasher or submerge it in water.
- To get rid of food stains, wipe stove surfaces with a soft cloth. Place wet kitchen paper over the grill to moisten baked-on food residue, or pour some warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue before cleaning with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad.
- Avoid using any abrasive materials that could scratch or harm the non-stick coating.
- Metal utensils should not be used to remove food from a non-stick surface since they can scratch it.
- Only use a moist towel to clean the Sandwich Maker’s exterior. Steel wool or any other abrasive scouring pad should not be used to clean the outside as this will harm the coating. Do not submerge in liquids, including water. Avoid putting it in the dishwasher.
- After each use, take out the drip tray, dump it, and wash it in warm, soapy water. Scouring pads and abrasive detergents should not be used as they risk damaging the surface. Replace after thorough rinsing and drying with a clean, soft cloth.
STORAGE
- Whenever storing the Sandwich Maker, disconnect it.
