Product Usage Instructions
General Information
- A qualified electrician, following IEE wiring regulations, should handle mains wiring connections.
- Always turn off mains power during maintenance.
- Ensure the rated voltage and frequency match the available mains supply.
- Clean reflectors and lenses with soft, lint-free cloths and anti-static cleaning fluid.
- Avoid high voltage insulation tests as they may damage internal components.
- For LED version: Class 2 insulated, no earth connection needed. Metal halide version: Class 1 insulated, must be earthed.
- Some outdoor luminaires may accumulate condensation due to temperature differences; this is acceptable under BSEN60598.
- Only the manufacturer, service agent, or qualified individual should replace the light source.
LED Installation Sequence
All measurements in mm unless stated otherwise.
- Remove the fitting from packaging.
- Bolt the luminaire to a suitable strong surface.
- Aim using main pivot bolt and fixing screw.
- Fix Live / Neutral conductors to power connector using securing screws.
- Plug power connector into the socket at the bottom of the luminaire.
- Use accessory EFLBKT76 and EFLWG as needed for installation.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- A qualified electrician, in accordance with IEE wiring regulations, should carry out connection to mains wiring.
- Ensure mains power is turned off during maintenance.
- Ensure that the rated voltage and frequency requirements are compatible with the available mains supply.
- Cleaning of reflectors and lenses should be carried out using clean, soft and lint free cloths and anti-static cleaning fluid.
- Do not carry out high voltage insulation test, i.e. 500/1000v this may damage internal components.
- LED version: Class 2 insulated and so does not require an earth connection. Conventional metal halide version: Class 1 insulated and must be earthed.
- Some luminaires installed in outdoor environments may experience a build-up of internal condensation. This is due to a difference in temperature between inside and outside the luminaire which is quite common and acceptable under BSEN60598.
- Replacing the light source within this luminaire shall only be carried out by the manufacturer, service agent or a similar qualified person.
LED INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
All measurements in mm unless stated otherwise
The LED version is class 2 insulated and does not require an earth connection.
Remove the fitting from all of the packaging.
- Luminaire to be bolted to a suitable surface strong enough to take the loads applied (Point 1).
- Point of aiming (Point 2) to be done via main pivot bolt (Point 3) and fixing screw (Point 4)
- Fix the Live / Neutral conductors of the 2 core supply flex to the power connector using the securing screws (Point 5).
- Plug the power connector in the socket located at the bottom of the luminaire. (Point 6).
- Accessory EFLBKT76. Use the two bolts supplied to fix the luminaire to the pole attachment. Clamp the attachment to the pole using the rear allen bolt.
- Accessory EFLWG. Attach the wire guard to the front of the luminaire using the four screws supplied.
