Getting started

  • Connect the power cable to the device and the DC adapter (not included) via a USB plug and connect to the AC power supply; or
  • Open the battery compartment cover (16) and insert a battery according to the correct polarity. Close the cover.
    NOTE! It is recommended to use an adapter for the continuous operation of the base station, although battery power is also possible.

Time setting
Press the SET button and hold it for 3 seconds. The digits that are to be set are flashing. Press UP/PROJECT or DOWN to change the
value, and then press SET to continue.
The setting order: 12/24h > Hours > Minutes.
Finally, press the SET button to save the settings and exit.

Alarm setting

  • Press the AL button to set the Alarm 1.
  • In the alarm setting mode press and hold the AL button for 3 seconds. The digits that are to be set are flashing. Press the UP/ PROJECT button or DOWN button to change the value, and then press the AL button to continue. The setting order: Hours > Minutes > Snooze time > Alarm sound. Press the AL button to confirm the settings and exit.
  • Repeat the instructions above to set the Alarm 2.
  • To activate or deactivate the Alarm 1 and/or Alarm 2, press the DOWN button in normal mode. The order: AL1 On > AL2 On > AL1 + AL2 On > AL1 + AL2 Off.
  • To silence the alarm, press any button (except the SNZ/LIGHT button). The alarm sound will automatically turn off after 2 minutes.

Snooze function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNZ/LIGHT button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again in a preset time span.

Alarm sound
When setting the alarm, you can choose either buzzer (the display shows “bu”) or radio (the display shows “rd”) as the alarm sound.

Temperature setting
Press the DOWN button to switch between °C and °F.

Projection setting

  • Press the UP/PROJECT button to turn on the projection, and then press it again to choose the projection brightness (3 levels available).
  • Press and hold the UP/PROJECT button to change the projection degree (0° > 90° > 180°).

Backlight setting

  • Press the SNZ/LIGHT button to choose the brightness (4 levels available).
  • Press and hold the SNZ/LIGHT button for 3 seconds to turn on/off the Auto mode. The display will automatically lower its brightness level when it is dark.

Night mode

  • Press the SET button, and then press the UP/PROJECT button or DOWN button to turn on/off the Night mode. The display
    brightness will be lowered during a scheduled time span.

  • Press the SET button to enter custom times for the Night mode. The setting order: Start hours > Start minutes > End hours > End minutes.
    NOTE! Auto mode and Night mode cannot be selected simultaneously.

FM radio

  • Press the RADIO/SLEEP button to turn on the radio.
  • Press the SET button to automatically search for and save radio stations. When the search is complete, the screen will show “01” and the device will play the first radio station. Press the UP/PROJECT or DOWN buttons to play the other saved radio stations.
  • Press the VOL button, and then press the UP/PROJECT or DOWN buttons to change the volume from minimum (the screen will show “L00”) to maximum (the screen will show “L15”).
  • Press the SNZ/LIGHT button to turn the radio off.

Sleep mode

  • Press the RADIO/SLEEP button twice to activate the sleep mode. The radio will play for the selected time span and then will automatically turn itself off.
  • Press the RADIO/SLEEP button to select the desired time span (from 5 to 90 minutes).
  • Press the RADIO/SLEEP button twice in normal mode to check the remaining time before the radio stops playing.

  • If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  • Children should use the device under adult supervision only.

Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period of time. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Remember to switch off devices after use. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.
