Get started

Turn on / off the pen

  • When the pen is fully charged, press the Power button briefly.
    The pen will turn on, indicated by the LED.

  • Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds or longer while the pen is on to turn it off. The LED will flash in different colors before the pen is turned off.
    The pen will be automatically turned off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

  • The power automatically will be turned on when you grip the pen.

  • In case the pen ⓐ is not turning on, ⓑ is not charged or ⓒ does not work, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset the pen.

  1. Download the app
    You can download NEO STUDIO from Google Play Store and App Store.
    Search “NEO STUDIO.”

  2. App settings
    Enable the device’s “Bluetooth” and “GPS (location).”

  3. Connect the app and the pen
    ① Open the app, and give required permissions.
    *The permission allowance is required to use the app without problems.
    ② Follow the instructions on screen to connect the app & the pen.
    (Once the connection between the app and the pen has been established, the pen’s LED will slowly blink in Green.)

How to use

  • The location of the optical sensor greatly affects the handwriting recognition accuracy. Please note that your handwriting may not be recognized if you hold or use the pen at an incorrect angle or in the wrong direction.
  • You can use the pen without connecting it to the app.
    You can connect it to the app afterward to automatically transfer the data.

How to hold the pen correctly

Precautions

  • This product has a built-in optical sensor. The handwriting recognition may not work correctly in direct sunlight, outdoors, or under infrared light.
  • Ensure the optical sensor is not blocked.
  • Strong impact on the pen tip may cause damage to the pressure sensor.
  • Leaving the product in places with a strong magnetic field, high temperature, or under direct sunlight for a long period of time may cause severe damage to the product.
  • When not in use, close the pen cap. Lightly remove any dust or dirt from the input sensor with a cotton swab.
  • Disassembling and reassembling the product will lead to product malfunction. In such cases, the warranty period will be void.
  • You must use the recommended pen tip that is compatible with the product. We will not accept responsibility for any malfunction caused by non-compliance with this instruction.
  • Parental supervision is required when children use this product.
