How to send and receive data to and from the field-Working with Leica Exchange
User Guide
Version 1.0
Introduction
This is a step-by-step tutorial in which you learn how to easily use Leica
Exchange to send and receive data between field and office.
In this tutorial, a newly designed building will be imported to Infinity with
dxf file. Points to be staked out will be extracted and sent to the field
using Leica Exchange. After the points are staked, the job will be sent back
to Infinity for Quality Check.
The functionality discussed in this guide requires the Basic license.
The data from the following folders will be used in this tutorial:
- Data\New building.dxf- containing newly designed building
- Data\trefset.dat- contains the coordinate system file
- Data\ stake-building_0730_1112_090026 contains the GNSS staked job
