PetSafe Happy Ride Folding Dog Ramp

Care & Use

Unhook the safety latch and unfold the ramp.

Start with the ramp flat on the ground and offer treats to encourage your dog to walk across. Don’t worry if your dog hesitates at first. We all need a little reassurance sometimes!

Set up the ramp on your vehicle with all four rubber feet resting on a stable surface. Offer treats to gently encourage your dog to practice walking up and down. With a little patience and lots of praise, your dog will soon be happy using the ramp on his own!

Thank you for purchasing the durable, easy-to-use UltraLite Bi-fold Pet Ramp from SOLVIT Products. With proper care, your Pet Ramp should provide years of trouble-free service.
The Pet Ramp should come packaged with the safety locking strap engaged (on side of ramp, see image). To disengage, pull on the finger tab which will remove the bulb end from the opposite ramp piece.

To use the Pet Ramp, simply unfold into a straight shape, set the angled, upper end (with the “Solvit” logo) on the surface to which the pet is trying to climb (car, couch, etc.), and set the angled, lower surface on the ground. When finished, simply fold the ramp into the closed position, engage the safety locking strap, and stow in a convenient place.
It is important to make sure the rubber feet on the upper and lower ends of the ramp are resting firmly on a stable surface (car bumper, sidewalk, etc.) before using. If the rubber feet are not in contact, the ramp could shift during use.
Please note when the safety locking strap is not engaged, it is possible for the ramp to swing open unintentionally. Always engage the locking strap when the ramp is not in use.
CAUTION: The SOLVIT Pet Ramp is designed for use only by pets such as dogs, cats, and small animals. It is not intended to carry humans or heavy loads. Using the Ramp in this way voids the warranty and creates an unsafe situation! Please follow this guideline strictly.

Training: Many pets will begin using the Pet Ramp with no hesitation. If your pet is unsure at first, lay the Ramp flat on the ground and allow your pet to become comfortable walking on it before using it in an inclined position. It also helps to hold your pet by the collar and offer reassuring praise and/or treats as your pet gains confidence using the Ramp. For vehicle use, command your pet to stay inside the vehicle until the Ramp is deployed, then walk your pet down safely.

Cleaning & Maintenance: If the plastic parts of the Pet Ramp become dirty, simply clean with any standard household cleaner. The tread material can be cleaned with mild detergent and a stiff brush, or a strong jet of water. The Ramp should be maintenance-free. If a problem occurs, please contact Customer Service below.

Warranty: The Pet Ramp is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

To ovoid distractions while driving, please read all instructions thoroughly and ensure the product ls correctly installed and your pet is settled before operating your vehicle.
If your pet is a chewer, check periodically to make sure the product hos not been damaged by your pet. Replace product if damaged.
Only attach the product to vehicle’s original manufacturer (OEM) Installed ports. Examples ore a seat belt tab, head rest, or rear-passenger handles.
These products ore for pets only. Never use them for children.
Do not place o restrained pet in the front seat of a vehicle with o passenger air bog unless the air bog is turned off.
DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY con occur. The bock seat is the safest place for your pet.
A harness is recommended rather than a collar for safely securing pets in your vehicle. Collars ore not suitable for automotive restraint and could allow the pet to launch into the cabin of o vehicle during quick stops or collision.

Pets should not be left unattended In vehicle at any time. Do not ever leave your dog In a car In the sun or In worm weather. This con very quickly lead to heat stroke or other life-threatening situations.

Store the product when It Is not In use. Store it In a dry, secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect the product for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
If assembling or folding or unfolding the product, do not insert hands anywhere there is a potential for pinching or crushing.

For products used with pets where training Is desired, Radio Systems Corporation recommends that these training products are not used If your pet la aggressive and accepts no liability for determining suitability In Individual cases.

This product is designed for use with pets only. This product Is not Intended to harm, injure or provoke. Using this product In a way that Is not intended could result In violation of Federal, State or local laws.
Limitation of Liability
