reach of children.
After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may
have occurred during transport. Fully read the instruction manual and store it
for future reference.
Place the sandwich grill on a flat, stable surface. Clean the exterior of the
sandwich grill using a slightly damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
Clean the plates with a soft sponge and hot water containing a mild washing-up
liquid. For the best result, lightly cover the grill plates with some cooking
oil. Place the sandwich grill on a stable heat-resistant surface. Fully unwind
the cord and insert the plug in the wall socket.
When used for the first time, a little smoke could come off the sandwich
grill. This is normal and is caused by burning greases and oils that were
used during the manufacture of the appliance.
GENERAL USE
The sandwich grill can be used for preparing toasted sandwiches and paninis.
GRILLING
Place the sandwich grill on a stable heat-resistant surface. Fully unwind the
cord and insert the plug in the wall socket.
Both indicator leds light up.
Allow the appliance to heat up while preparing the food. Heating up the
sandwich grill takes approximately four minutes.
The sandwich grill is provided with a thermostat that controls the temperature
of the appliance. Once the sandwich grill has reached the required
temperature, the green indicator led switches off. The sandwich grill is now
ready for use.
Caution: do not touch the metal parts and grill plates, as they get
extremely hot.
Open the sandwich grill and place the food to be prepared on the bottom plate.
Close the sandwich grill and close the locking mechanism. Grilling takes
approximately three to eight minutes, depending on the type of food and your
personal taste.
Remove the food with a wooden or plastic spatula, in order to protect the non-
stick coating. Do not use metal or sharp objects.
Warning: fillings of toasted sandwiches get very hot. So do be careful,
particularly in the case of children.
After use, always remove the plug from the socket.
