JAEGER-LECOULTRE 3288420 Reverso One Quartz Watch
INTRODUCTION
We would like to thank you for the confidence you have placed in Jaeger-
LeCoultre. Our Maison has applied all its expertise and exacting standards to
the creation of this model.
We invite you to consult the operating in-structions and hope your Jaeger-
LeCoultre timepiece brings you great joy.
REVERSO ONE
ACCURACY AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
QUARTZ MODELS
Quartz models are accurate to within 2 to 3 minutes a year. Jaeger-LeCoultre
quartz watches contain a battery and electronic components.
When performing a maintenance service, your Jaeger-LeCoultre authorised
Techni-cal Assistance Centre or your authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre retailer will
recover such components and ensure they are disposed of in accordance with the
standards in force.
WATER RESISTANCE
Your Jaeger-LeCoultre watch is water-resistant to 3 bar. Its water resistance
can be identified by the symbol and/or the engraving: “3 bar” on the caseback.
This means that your model has been tested at an overpressure of 3 bar,
corresponding to an immersion pressure of 30 metres (1 bar = ±10 metres).
In accordance with the ISO 22810/NIHS 92-20 standard, in order to guarantee
the durability of the watch’s characteristics over time, and as water
resistance may be affected by certain activities, it is recommended that you:
- have the watch’s water resistance checked by an authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre retailer at least once every two years. It is essential to have such a check carried out each time your watch is opened, and before any period in which it is liable to undergo prolonged and/or regular immersions.
- check when making the purchase that the bracelet is suitable for the intended use.
- avoid subjecting the watch to excessively abrupt temperature changes.
- protect the watch from being dropped or suffering other accidental impacts, and have the water resistance checked after any severe impact.
- avoid using the controls, push-piece, or time-setting crown while under water, or outside the water, if the watch is not yet dry after immersion.
- restore the time-setting crown and the push-pieces to their normal positions, (or where applicable, close the compression keys) after every manipulation.
- rinse the watch with fresh water after use in seawater.
You may use your watch while swimming as long as you do not exceed the immersion pressure and do not engage in any water sports that could cause impacts. This watch is not a piece of diving equip-ment and should not be used as such. Also, note that leather straps are not suited for aquatic activities.
“1000 HOURS CONTROL” TEST
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture pays close attention to the quality and to
the final checks of its watches.
The 1000 Hours Control is a series of internal qualification tests for each of
the models in our collection, as well as internal tests on the production of
your watch, which go beyond official timing tests. These tests include checks
of the movement before and after being cased up in the watch and cover the
whole watch once it has been assembled, in the condi-tions closest to daily
wear.
The “1000 Hours Control” legend, or the “ ” seal engraved on the back of the
watch certifies that each of the models from our collection has successfully
undergone all of the qualification tests, and that your watch has successfully
undergone all of the production tests. These ensure regularity of rate,
resistance to variations in temperature and atmospheric pressure, ability to
withstand shocks and magnetic fields, as well as water resistance.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR LEATHER STRAPS
- Keep the leather strap in a dry place
- Avoid contact with water, cosmetics, perfumes, alcohol and oily materials
- To prevent leather from discolouring, avoid wearing the watch:
- in a highly humid environment
- – during a sporting activity: sweat da-mages the leather
- in prolonged exposure to sunlight
- 4. Wipe with a dry and soft fabric. Do not dry in direct sunlight or near heat sources
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

USE
SETTING THE HOURS AND MINUTES Pull the crown out to position 1.
Move the hands clockwise until the desired time is displayed. When the
operation is complete, push the crown back to position 0.
ADJUSTING THE BRACELET OF THE REVERSO ONE CORDONNET
For optimal adjustment of your bracelet, we recommend that you contact your
nearest Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique or authorised retailer, or contact one of
our authorised Technical Assistance Centres.
If you choose to adjust the length of your watch’s bracelet yourself, a list of recommended tools can be found below:
-
To open the clasp:
A corrector tool (available from the Manufacture, can be ordered with reference number JLQE640895), or a stick with a plastic end to avoid scratching your piece during the operation. -
To cut the strands of the bracelet:
A tool with a sharp blade. Ideally, we recommend using a cigar cutter (available in specialised boutiques. Not available from the Manufacture). This tool’s cigar-shaped blades keep the bracelet in place as it is cut.
OPENING THE CLASP
- With the corrector tool, place the extremity in the opening area.
- Pull up the clasp.
- Release the clasp.
- Remove the bracelet from the clasp.
Be careful not to lose the ring linked to the bracelet.
ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF THE BRACELET
Each strand of the bracelet is independent, they are joined symmetrically
by the clasp. Make sure that each strand is cut to the same length.
- Determine the required length to know where to cut the bracelet.
- Cut the bracelet to the required length.
REASSEMBLING THE BRACELET AND CLASP
- Place as much of the bracelet as possible into the clasp.
- Close the clasp.
- Repeat the complete operation for the other length.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
A Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece is a high-precision instrument that operates 24
hours a day, or 8,760 hours a year. There-fore, it is essential to have it
serviced regularly in order to guarantee its good work-ing order and its
durability. If significant variations occur in the settings, it may be
necessary to have the movement serviced. It is also necessary to have the
water-resistance of the watch checked once every two years, or prior to any
period during which it will be subjected to prolonged and/or regular
immersion.
Maintenance and repair work must be entrusted to an authorised Jaeger-
LeCoultre retailer, a Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique, or an authorised Jaeger-
LeCoultre Service Centre. The list of our points of sale and service centres
is available on our website: www.jaeger-lecoultre.com. You will also find this
information at the end of this document, under the heading “Where to entrust
my timepiece for maintenance?” Our authorised Service Centres are staffed by
watchmakers trained at the Jaeger- LeCoultre Manufacture, and have the
workshops, tools, and parts required for the repair and maintenance of Jaeger-
LeCoultre watches and clocks.
In certain cases, especially for operations requiring special tools and parts,
the Ser-vice Centres will send your watch to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture
in Switzerland to have the necessary work carried out.
