EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS ON THE SILKSCREEN
The triangle containing a lightning symbol is used to indicate whenever your health is at risk (due to electrocution, for example).
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in handling or operating the appliance.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Please read the manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
  • The unit shall be connected to a power supply only of the type described.
  • To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.
  • Unplug the unit from the wall socket when it is not to be used for a long period of time.
  • Adequate care shall be taken so that foreign objects do not fall, or liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
  • Do not remove the cover or back, as there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
  • Do not place on the apparatus as the naked flame source, such as lighted candles.
  • Do not use the unit in a tropical climate. The unit should only be used in moderate climates
  • A minimum distance of 0.5m around the unit must be kept to ensure sufficient ventilation and avoid overheating.
  • All safety instructions and warnings must be adhered to. They are part of the manual and must be kept with the manual.
  • Any guarantee claims are rendered invalid if damage occurs due to the non-observance of these operating instructions. We assume no liability for any consequent damage.
  • We assume no liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by incorrect handling or disrespect of the safety instructions. Any guarantee claims expire in such cases.
  • Unauthorized conversions and/or modifications of the appliance are not permitted for safety and licensing reasons (CE).
  • The appliance is approved for operation in dry, closed rooms only. Do not operate the device nearby water, such as in bathrooms or nearby swimming pools.
  • The appliance may not be exposed to extreme temperatures (< +5°C / > +35°C) in operation.
  • The appliance may not be subject to strong vibrations or heavy mechanical strain.

DISCONNECT DEVICE: Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

FRONT PANEL

  1. POWER: Press this button to power ON or OFF the unit
  2. Bass: Turn this knob to adjust the bass of the main output
  3. Treble: Turn this knob to adjust the treble of the main output
  4. Volume: Use this knob to control the master volume.
  5. MIC VOL: Use this knob to adjust the microphone volume
  6. Input: Press this button to switch among AUX, USB/SD, FM & BLUETOOTH.
  7. Previous: Press this button to go back to the beginning of the current track or move to the previous track or move to the previous station.
  8. Play/Pause: Press this button to play the signal from USB/SD, Bluetooth. Press again to pause
  9. Next: Press this button to move to the next track or move to the next station.
  10. REPEAT/RANDOM: Press this button to repeat the current track, all track or play random tracks
  11. SD: Connect your SD card here
  12. USB: Connect your USB flash drive here
  13. & 14.MIC1 & MIC2: Connect your microphones here

OPERATION

  • Select a central location for the amplifier.
  • Connect the speaker wires (red & black) to the + and – terminals on the rear panel of the amplifier.
  • Connect the audio signal to the relevant sockets with the correct polarity.
  • Plug the mains lead in and switch the amplifier on once you have checked all connections.
  • Switch the audio sources on and adjust the master volume to the required level.
  • Karaoke: Plug a mic into MIC1 or MIC2 socket on the front panel. Before you use the mic, make sure that it is switched off and the MIC volume button is set to the minimum. Connect the microphone, switch it on and adjust slowly the volume and the echo.
  • If you don’t use the unit any longer, switch the amplifier off and disconnect it from the mains.

SIGNAL SOURCES AND THEIR CONNECTIONS:

  • Connect a DVD player or a CD player to the terminal AUDIO INPUT or a data storage unit to the USB interface or insert an SD-memory card in a suitable slot or activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone.
  • Select the active signal source by pressing the INPUT button until the desired input source is displayed.
  • Use the MP3 CONTROL function for controlling the files on a connected data storage unit.
  • If you wish to use the karaoke function of this device, insert one or two microphones into MIC1 and MIC2. Their signals are going to the signal output too.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION

The PLS1250USB-RC is only discoverable when the input selected is Bluetooth. After selecting Bluetooth input mode on the PLS1250USB-RC, turn on the Bluetooth function on the cell phone and search the PLS1250USB-RC. Its Bluetooth device name is “PLS1250USB-RC”. Pair and connect after search. There is no pairing code.

REAR PANEL:

  1. Audio Input: Connect any stereo signal such as a CD, TAPE, Mixer, etc. to this input. To play a signal connected to this input make sure the AUX input is selected on the front panel.
  2. Speakers Outputs: Connect your speakers here to receive the signal from thePLS1250USB-RC.
  3. FM antenna: FM antenna for FM tuner
  4. 12V DC power input: Connect this input to a DC adaptor to power the unit (not supplied).
  5. 230V Power supply: Connect the unit to the AC power outlet.

REMOTE CONTROL:

MUTE button: no sound
REPEAT/Random: Press the button to repeat the current track, all tracks, or play random tracks.
MODE: Press this button to switch between AUX, USB/SD, FM, and Bluetooth inputs.
10-/10+: Press either of these buttons to go 10 tracks back or forward
EQ: Press this button to switch among all preset equalization modes
Previous: Press to go to the previous track. In FM mode, press to go to the previous station
Next: Press to go to the next track. In FM mode, press to go to the next station
Play/Pause: Press this button to play or pause the playing.
Volume: Press either of these buttons to adjust the master volume.
EQ: Press this button to switch among all the EQ modes
Number keys: Press these keys to enter numbers

IR REMOTE CONTROLLER
Please operate the remote control within a distance of 6m and 30° between the remote and the appliance. Aim the remote at the sensor. Remove all obstacles between the remote and the sensor. The remote control might not work properly if the sensor is exposed to strong sunshine. If the remote control doesn’t work properly, please check the batteries.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL

  • Place the remote face down on a flat surface.
  •  Push the compartment cover into the direction of the arrow.
  • Slide the battery compartment open.
  • Remove the old battery and install the new one (CR2032) with the plus (+) symbol facing up.
  • Gently slide the battery compartment closed. It locks automatically.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BATTERIES
This symbol indicates that used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste but deposed correctly in accordance with your local regulations.
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
When the internal batteries are not to be used, remove them to avoid damage caused by battery leakage or corrosion.
ATTENTION: Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly placed. Only replace by the same or equivalent type.
WARNING: Do not swallow the battery. The danger of chemical burns. Keep new and old batteries out of the reach of children.
If the battery compartment doesn’t close properly, stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of children.
If you are in doubt whether the batteries have been swallowed or introduced into any other part of the body, contact immediately a doctor.
