Device description

The Mercury Free Clinical Thermometer is an enclosed cale metallic liquid-in- glass thermometer that consists of temperature-sensing liquid, a glass tube (called a capillary), a scale card, and a glass shell. The temperature- sensoring liquid is a gallium-based alloy (Gallium, Indium, and Tin) contained in the glass tube; the scale card is fixed on the inner wall of the glass shell; the glass tube is at the center of the glass shell. The device works on the principle of thermal expansion of substances. The temperature range is 35°C~42°C.

Clinical benefits
