SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- NEVER look directly at the sun or near the sun with binoculars! There is a risk of blindness!
- The binoculars are not toys! Children are not allowed to use binoculars without adult supervision. Keep the binoculars, accessories and packaging materials away from children and pets to prevent accidents and suffocation.
- People with physical or cognitive disabilities should use binoculars under guidance and supervision.
- Please note that light shining through the eyepiece is highly focused and can generate a great deal of heat. Therefore, make sure that the binoculars are not pointed at easily flammable materials. After use, please attach the protective eyepiece caps.
- Protect the binoculars from rain, moisture, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
SETTING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE EYES
- Hold your binocular with both hands and look through the eyepieces.
- Move the binocular at the prisms in such a way that you see a circle in the field of vision 1
FOCUSSING/DIOPTRE SETTING

Close the right eye and adjust the picture by turning the centre wheel 2). The picture should look clear and sharp to the left eye.

Now close the left eye. Turn the dioptre setting 3 until the object becomes clear and sharp. Note this setting for future observations.
FOR EYEGLASS WEARERS -
Depending on the model. the eyecups can either be retracted 4 or turned out 5 to enlarge the field of view and to make observations more comfortable.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF BINOCULARS
- When the binocular is not in use always cover the lenses and eyepieces with the protective caps (if in scope of delivery). Store the binoculars in the supplied bag.
- To clean the lenses and eyepieces use a soft and lint-less cleaning cloth. To remove stubborn dirt slightly damp the cleaning cloth with a special lens cleaning fluid (never apply the fluid directly onto the lenses or eyepieces).
- Store the binocular in a dry and dust free place.
- Do not attempt disassemble the binocular yourself for cleaning or repair. Please contact your local dealer or service agent.
