SAFETY HINTS

  • Protect the device from rain, moisture, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not operate or touch the device with wet hands.
  • Respect the maximum loading capacity of 4kg.
  • Protect the device against impacts. Do not use the device if it has been dropped. In this case a qualified electrician should inspect the device before you use it again.
  • Do not attempt to repair the device by yourself. Risk of electric shock! When service or repair is required, contact qualified service personnel.
  • People with physical or cognitive disabilities should use the device with supervision.
  • People with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators or any other electrical implants should maintain a minimum distance of 30 cm, as the device generates magnetic fields.
  • Do not use the device nearby mobile phones and devices that generate strong electromagnetic fields (e.g. electric engines).
  • This device is not a toy. To prevent accidents and suffocation keep the device, the accessories and the packing materials away from children and pets.
  • Protect the device against dirt. Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the device. We recommend a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth to clean the outer parts of the device. Make sure to take off the device from power before cleaning!
  • Store the device in a dust-free, dry and cool place.

CHARGING THE MOTOR DOLLY/LED INDICATOR

ATTENTION

Before first charging, unscrew the motor drive wheel (14) to remove the protective plate between battery and battery contact.

To charge the motor dolly plug the micro USB connector of the USB charging cable into the Micro USB port (5) and connect the motor dolly to your PC. While charging, the LED indicator (6) lights up red. After the motor dolly is fully charged, the LED indicator (6) will turn off. If the remaining energy is low, the LED indicator (6) flashes red.

MOUNTING THE CAMERA

Screw your camera onto the 1/4″ female thread (1) and tighten the locking screw (2) upwards.

ADJUSTING THE CURVE ANGLE

To make the motor dolly move in a circle, set the front wheel (11) to the desired curve angle (12).

TRACKING SHOTS

To start the tracking shot press the On/Off button (7). To move forward or backward press the button (8). For higher speed press the plus button (9). For lower speed press the minus button (10).

CAUTION

  • Do not hold or rotate the motor drive wheel (14) manually during operation. This may cause damage to the motor.
  • Only operate the motor dolly on flat surfaces/undergrounds.
  • Take care that the motor dolly does not drop down while moving.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the device. We recommend a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth to clean the outer parts of the device. Make sure to take off the device from power before cleaning! Store the device in a dust-free, dry and cool place. This device is not a toy – keep it out of reach of children. Keep away from pets.
