Cleaning and conserving non-stick coated pans after general use:
This product has got a high quality non-stick coating. Special care must be
taken to conserve the non-stick coating while cooking, while taking out food
for serving and while cleaning it.
Only then your appliance with non-stick coating can be in service for a long
time.
Pls follow the cleaning instructions in the previous section strictly and
carefully. In addition, pls follow the below mentioned procedures:
-
Remove any loose food. When has cooled down and is safe to touch, use a paper towel, wooden, or plastic spatula to remove off any loose food from the pan. Be sure to use a pot holder to hold the pan handle if the pan is still a bit warm.
· Be sure to use a non-metal utensil on your non-stick coated surface. Wooden or silicone spatulas are recommended. Metal utensils can scratch and remove the nonstick coated layer on your pots and pans.
· If you are saving the rest of the food in the pan, use your non-metal utensil to sweep the food into a container that you can store later.
· When using the plastic or wooden utensils always be soft during moving or scraping the food in the pan.
· Avoid keeping food in the pan after cooking for a long time to avoid food getting hard inside it and making it difficult to clean it up.
· Do NOT `store’ food in the pan for longer periods of time. Proper cleaning of the non-stick pan after each use is crucial for maximum longevity. Lack of proper cleaning of the pan after each use ultimately resulting in oil and food residue build-up and loss of nonstock effect will NOT be covered under the warranty. -
Cleaning the pan. Use a soft nylon scrubber, sponge, or paper towel sprinkled with a few drops of dishwashing soap to wipe the non-stick coated surface clean. Be sure to wipe all areas on the inside of the pan, but also wipe down the outside bottom of the pan and the pan handle. Wipe off all soapy residue from the pan.
· Do not use abrasive cleaning pads on nonstick coated pan. The abrasive material can damage and remove the non-stick coating of the pan.
· At any point in the above process, DO NOT dip the Electric Pan directly in water or bring it under running water in the water sink.
