WHAT’S INCLUDED
- 1 x 201-217-30 – Gauge and mounting bracket
- 1 x 221-SK – Epoxy strain sensor installation kit
- 1 x 218-SK – Weld strain sensor installation kit
SENSOR CONFIGURATION
The gauge should be set to detect 2 Spring Sensors. See Spring Suspension Gauge manual for more information on how to set the sensor configuration.
APPLICATIONS
Tractor or Straight Truck with Mack Camelback Suspension
Sensor Location:
The gauge can be mounted anywhere on the outside of the vehicle. Strain sensor
“A” should be mounted on the top, center of the steer axle using the 221-SK
installation kit. Strain sensor “B” should be mounted on the top, center of
the trunnion tube that runs between the two drive axles using the 218-SK
installation kit. Refer to the 218-SK and 221-SK manuals for more information
on how to install each strain sensor.
Mode:
Set the gauge to Independent (IDP) mode to see separate weights for the steer
axle and the drive axle group. See Spring Suspension Gauge manual for
information on how to set the mode.
