SENSOR CONFIGURATION
The gauge should be set to detect 2 Spring Sensors. See Spring Suspension Gauge manual for more information on how to set the sensor configuration.
APPLICATIONS
Straight Truck: Walking Beam Spring Suspension (DRIVE AXLE GROUP ONLY)
Sensor Location:
The strain sensors should be mounted on the back left and the front right of
the walking beam drive axle group. Make sure they are installed on the top of
the beams. See the 218-SK manual for more information on how to install the
strain sensors.
Mode:
Set the gauge to Average (AVG) mode to see a single weight for the drive axle
group. See Spring Suspension Gauge manual for information on how to set the
mode.
