Installation

(Optional) Mount the PoE Injector

  1. Determine the Mounting Surface and Location for the PoE Injector.
  2. Mount the PoE Injector to the desired Mounting Surface using the appropriate Mounting Hardware (e.g. Wood Screws).

Install the PoE Injector

  1. Connect an Ethernet Cable from the Source Network Device (i.e., router, modem, or non-PoE switch) to the Data Port(s) on the PoE Injector.
  2. Connect an Ethernet Cable to the appropriate PoE+ Port(s) on the PoE Injector.
  3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet Cable used in Step 2 to either a PD (Powered Device) or a PoE Splitter to separate Data and Power.
  4. Plug the included Power Adapter into an AC Outlet and connect it to the DC Power Port. Verify that the Power LED is illuminated.
