Introduction
The Shared ECU users mean that several households adjacent to or sharing the same roof establish their photovoltaic power plants and communicate data through the same ECU, and each customer has independent photovoltaic equipment (inverters and components) through independent EMA accounts monitor the operating status of their respective systems in real-time. This manual introduces how to quickly use the EMA function for such users.
Basic Concepts and Usage Restrictions
Two Kinds of Shared ECU User
User Category Introduction
Shared ECU Master User:In order to facilitate management, the installer is
required to register a master user account for the shared ECU, through which
the account can be used to centrally manage and view all inverter information
sharing the ECU, and simplify the registration process of shared ECU users.
Shared ECU Sub User:EMA can create different monitoring accounts for different
household users who use the same ECU. The accounts do not interfere with each
other and monitor the running status and power generation data of their own
inverters in real time.
Open Installer Register Shared ECU User Permissions
By default, installers cannot register shared ECU user accounts. If you need
to open this permission, you can contact APsystems.
Registration
The new version of EMA has optimized the user registration process for shared
ECU, requiring that the primary user be registered first and then the sub-
users. In this way, the operation of registering sub-users can be simplified
and the installer’s registration time can be saved.
Shared ECU Master User:The registration process is similar to normal user.
Shared ECU Sub User:To register a sub-user, you need to specify the ECU ID of
shared ecu master user first. After the association is successful, part of the
sub-user’s registration information will directly reuse the master user’s
registration information, such as geographic information, device information,
etc., without repeating input, which can achieve fast registered.
Register Shared ECU Master User
- Log onto EMA, and click “REGISTRATION”.
- Click “Add shared ECU Master User”, Open the shared ECU Master user registration page.
- According to the registration process, fill in the registration information.
- Click “Complete Registration” to submit registration information.
- Attention: In the dialog box will appear “Complete Registration” and “Complete and register shared ECU sub-user”.
- Select “Complete and register shared ECU sub-user” and click “Associate” to verify the ECU association. After the association is successful, the web page will jump to the user information page, and the installer can follow the registration steps to register sub-users.
Register Shared ECU Sub User
- Log onto EMA, and click “REGISTRATION”.
- Select“Add shared ECU Sub User” and enter ECU ID.
- Enter the ECU ID that needs to be verified. When the verification is passed, click “OK” to open the sub-user registration page.
- Fill in the user information according to the registration process, and click “Submit” to save the user information.
- Check the associated ECU ID and click “Next” to enter the inverter registration list
- Click “Associate” to open the list of Unrelated UIDs under the master user.
- Select the inverter UID to be associated, and import the inverter UID into the “Related UIDs” on the right.
- Click “Submit” to submit UID information.
- Click “Next” to enter the “View List” page.
- Click “Add” to open the view information edit box.
- Fill in the view information and click the “OK” to open the “Component Layout” page.
- Drag the UID on the left to the blank component on the right, or right-click any component to open the UID import mode, and import the UID to the blank component.
- Click “Save” to submit the view information.
- Click “Next” to enter the upload picture page.
- Upload corresponding photos or drawings as required.
- Click “Complete Registration ” to submit account information.
The Restrictions of Share ECU
- Applicable ECU type: only ECU with Zigbee communication mode.
- The scope of application: The shared transmission distance of the wireless communication ECU is controlled within 300 meters, and the stable communication between the inverter and the ECU should be ensured before use.
Information Inquiry and Management
Compared with ordinary users, the display of output power is a little different. Compared with ordinary users, the display of output power is a little different. Share ECU Master user: you can see the data summary of all sub-users under the current registered ECU.
Search for Shared ECU Users
- Login EMA,
- Select “More Options”,
- Select “User Type” as “Shared ECU Master User” or “Shared ECU Sub User”
- Press “Query”.
Shared ECU User Registration Information Management.
Shared ECU Master User
Personal Information
- The modification and management of account information are the same as ordinary users.
ECU Information
- The process of adding and managing ECU information is the same as ordinary users.
Note:
- Edit ECU: Changing the ECU ID will affect the ECU ID of shared ECU sub-users. To maintain the relationship between the master and sub-users, the ECU ID must be the same, otherwise, there is no correlation.
- Replace ECU: you need to go to the “REPLACE DEVICE ” page under ” USER REGISTRATION “.
Inverter Information
The registration and management of Inverter information is same as ordinary
user.
Note: Replace Inverter: you need to go to the “REPLACE DEVICE ” page under ” USER
View Information
View information is required of new version EMA, the addition and management
of view information is same as ordinary user.
Upload Picture
It is used to save the uploaded installation drawings or system pictures. It
is an optional item. The upload process is the same as the ordinary users.
Shared ECU Sub User
Shared ECU sub-user information is similar to shared ECU master user
information, including personal information, ECU information, Inverter
information, view information, and upload pictures.
Note:
The information management is similar to the ordinary user, except that the
registration information of ECU ID and Inverter UID can be obtained by
associating the registration information of the master user. After shared ECU
sub-users purchase a new ECU as a private communication device, the installer
can upgrade it from sub-user to ordinary user.
Incomplete Customer
Registration procedure may be interrupted due to special reasons. EMA will
retain the unfinished registration information for the customers who can
continue registering after completing other works. The procedure is the same
as normal users. In the ” Registration “, search the unfinished registration
customers in the “Incomplete Customer” list and follow the reminders to
continue the registration.
System Data Monitoring
The data monitoring content of the shared ECU is the same as normal users. The following tables list the differences between them.
