SUITABLE FOR BIKE RIDING, SKATING, SCOOTERS AND SKATEBOARDING
The helmet you have just purchased provides protection, whether on or off the road. To ensure proper use of this helmet, familiarize yourself with its features, fit and care by carefully reading through this manual before wearing your new helmet.
THE PROPER FIT
STEP 1: The helmet fits correctly when the pads and the adjustment dial
(Diagram A) hold the helmet firmly but comfortably in place. For a correct
adjustment, turn the adjustment dial clock-wise (to the right), until the
helmet fits firmly and comfortably, to reduce the adjustment, turn the
adjustment dial counterclockwise (to the left). All fitting adjustments must
be made with the helmet in the proper position. Failure to do so will result
in a poor fit. A poor fit allows the helmet to move out of position or to come
o in an accident. For proper position, please refer to Diagram B and C.
STEP 2: Always wear a helmet low in the front to protect the forehead as
in the CORRECT image below in Diagram B.
STEP 3: The front and rear straps should join at a point slightly below
and in front of the ears. See Diagram C. To adjust the position of the straps
hold one end of the buckle in one hand and slide the slide adjuster up or down
as necessary with the other hand correctly positioned. To adjust the front or
rear strap individually, hold the strap to be adjusted and slide the slide
adjuster in the appropriate direction.
STEP 4: Always wear the helmet with the chin strap buckle fastened and
the strap pulled tight. Make sure the strap is well back against the throat,
NOT on the point of the chin. Straps worn at the point of the chin increase
the chance of the helmet coming o in an accident. See Diagram D.
Fasten buckle by clipping ends together. Release buckle by squeezing sides.
Diagram B shows the CORRECT placement of the chin strap. Make sure the loose
end of the strap passes through the Rubber “O” ring, if it does not, the strap
may slide loose and the helmet can come o accidentally. See Diagram E.
STEP 5: Before using the helmet, make sure it fits correctly, the straps
are correctly adjusted and the chin strap is tight enough. Put the helmet on
in the correct position. Fasten the chin strap and pull it tight.
CHECK THE FIT: Grab the helmet with both hands and twist it to the left
and to the right. If the helmet fits right, the skin on the forehead will move
as the helmet moves. If it does not, the helmet is too loose. Return to STEP
- CHECK THE STRAPS: Grab the helmet with both hands and try to remove it by
rolling the helmet forward and backwards as far as you can. Make a serious
eort. If you can roll it o the head completely in either direction, roll it
forward so far it blocks vision or backwards far enough to expose the
forehead, it does not fit right. Repeat STEPS 3 and 4 until helmet movement is
minimal.
WARNING: If you cannot adjust your helmet to fit as required by STEP 5. DO NOT USE THIS HELMET. Replace it with a dierent size.
STEP 6: Once you are satified that the helmet fits correctly and that all straps are properly adjusted and tightened, take a short ride. Pay attention to overall comfort and helmet stability while riding. Make any minor adjustments to the fit pads and straps to improve the comfort stability.
CLEANING YOUR HELMET
- Use only mild soap and water to clean your helmet, straps and pads.
- DO NOT use chemicals. Do not use solvents, paints or hydrocarbons.
INSTRUCTIONS
The Bluetooth helmet has only one button, the power button.

To turn the Bluetooth helmet ON:
Press the power button for 2 seconds. -
To turn the Bluetooth helmet OFF:
Press the power button for 2 seconds.
PAIRING
- Make sure your device has Bluetooth® capability.
- Turn the Bluetooth smart helmet on.
- Watch for that the beads at both ends of the LED light will light up, indicating that it’s in Standby mode.
- Follow the instructions of your device to pair the unit.
- Pair your device by selecting aidy Bluetooth® Smart Helmet from the Bluetooth®listing on your device or by selecting YES. When successfully connected, you will hear a beep and the device will display bluetooth connection successfully.
- Press play on your device and use controls on it to adjust desired volume.
Once you have successfully paired your device, you may not need to repeat the
pairing steps. When pairing with a computer, please consult your computer
manufacturer for Bluetooth® pairing instructions and/or the latest Bluetooth®
drivers. Keep all non-water-resistant devices (phones, mp3 players, etc.) in a
dry place where they will not come in contact with water. A pairing code is
not required.
NOTE: Volume is controlled only by the device connected to your
Bluetooth® Smart Helmet.
VOICE RECOGNITION
Voice commands are available when the helmet is powered on, but only in the following terms.
The voice recognition module needs to hear “Hello AIDY” wake up every time
before it can recognize other instructions.
If there is no new command ten seconds after waking up or you hear “back
down”, you will automatically return to the s standby mode , and you need to
wake up again.
CHARGING YOUR HELMET
- Open the charging plug on the LED. The charger is located on the back of the LED.
- Charge by using the USB to Micro USB cord (included) with a computer or AC adapter with USB jack (not included).
The power indicator shows steady red when charging. After the power supply is
fully charged, the indicator is steady green.
NOTE: Please allow approximately 3 hours for full charge. Battery will
last up to 6 hours when connected wirelessly.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERCHARGE THE BATTERY FOR LONG PERIODS, AS IT COULD DAMAGE THE BATTERY.
PLEASE READ WARNINGS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USING
- No helmet can protect the wearer against all possible impacts. Bicycle helmets are designed to absorb the energy of only one major impact. After one major impact the helmet should be destroyed and replaced. Impacts can cause unseen damage to your helmet, barring a major impact, the life expectancy of a helmet depends on the frequency of its use and the care that is given. Like other safety devices, a bicycle helmet needs to be replaced over time. We recommend evaluating your helmet after two years of use.
- The helmet is designed to absorb shock by partial destruction of the shell and liner. This damage may not be visible. Therefore, if subjected to a severe blow, the helmet should be destroyed and replaced even if it appears undamaged.
- The helmet is designed to be retained by a strap under the lower jaw.
- Fasten all retention straps properly. If you do not attach the straps properly the helmet will not protect you in a fall.
- To be eective, a helmet must fit and be worn correctly. To check for correct fit, place helmet on head and make any adjustments indicated. Securely fasten retention system. Grasp the helmet and try to rotate it to the front and rear. A correctly fitted helmet should be comfortable and should not move forward to obscure vision or rearward to expose the forehead.
- For maximum protection the helmet must be fitted and attached properly to the wearer’s head in accordance with the instructions.
- The helmet may be damaged and rendered ineective by petroleum and petroleum products, cleaning agents, paints, adhesives and the like, without the damage being visible to the user.
- A helmet does not provide protection to any part of the body that it does not cover directly.
- No attachments should be made to the helmet except those recommended by the helmet manufacturer.
- Use only mild soap and a soft cloth when cleaning the shell. Do not use abrasives or strong cleaning solvents.
- Do not expose your helmet to extreme temperatures. Do not leave your helmet in a hot vehicle for extended periods of time. If damaged, the helmet should be destroyed or replaced.
- A helmet has a limited lifespan in use and should be replaced when it shows obvious signs of wear.
- This helmet should not be used by children while climbing or doing other activities where there is a risk of hanging or strangulation if the child gets trapped whilst wearing the helmet.
- This helmet should not be worn by anyone who cannot comfortably support the weight of the helmet. Children under the age of one should be checked by a pediatrician before using the this helmet.
- This helmet is not intended for use with any motorized vehicle or while performing any stunts.
- The helmet must be kept away from any heat source. Do not leave it inside the car or any other place directly or indirectly exposed to solar radiation. High temperatures lead to the deterioration of the helmet and consequent loss of its characteristics (namely the absorption of energy). The maximum temperature at which the helmet may be exposed to is 112˚F (50˚ C)

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment andreceiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
