Removal and Installation
- Remove cargo rail end plugs by pushing in on the end plug tab and pulling the end plug out of the rail.
- If tie downs are installed in the cargo rail, remove them.
- Install the brackets into the cargo rails by assembling them as shown and inserting the assembly into the rail. Three brackets per side are required. Leave all fastener hardware loose at this time.

Reinstalling Cargo Tie Downs
If tie downs are going to be used, install them in the following order:
- Cab End Clamp
- Tie Down Clamp
- Tie Down
Tools Needed
- 1/8 Allen Wrench
- 1/2 Wrench or Socket
- 3/8 Drive Ratchet
- 7/16 Wrench or Socket
Attach Foam Block Seals
Peel off the white paper backing and attach foam corner block seals to the
front bulkhead.

Attaching Side Rails to Brackets
- Use a 1/8 Allen Wrench to attach the side rails to the brackets. Leave all fastener hardware loose at this time.
Rail Positioning and Adjustment
With the tailgate closed, evenly position both side rails from front to back
while compressing the seal installed in step 5. The correct distance from the
tailgate is approximately 3/8 inch.
Spacing Rails Correctly at Tailgate End of Bed
With rails spaced correctly from the tailgate, adjust the space between the
bed caps and rails. Space the driver and passenger side rails 2 inches from
each bed cap at the tailgate end. While holding the rail at 2 inches, apply
downward pressure on the rail and tighten both bolts in each rear bracket.
Spacing Rails Correctly at Cab End of Bed
With rails spaced correctly from the tailgate, adjust the space between the
bed caps and rails. Space the driver and passenger side rails 2 5/8 inches
from each bed cap at the cab end. While holding the rail at 2 5/8 inches,
apply downward pressure on the rail and tighten both bolts in each front
bracket.
Finishing Installation
Once the rails have been positioned and all bracket hardware has been
tightened, refer to step 4 in the manual supplied with this kit to finish
installing. Apply downward pressure when tightening screws for proper fit and
weather sealing. Tighten the last screw.

Leave all fastener hardware loose at this time.

- Reinstalling cargo tie downs: If tie downs are going to be used, install the tie downs in order as shown in the diagram.

- 7/16” Wrench or Socket
- Attach Foam Block Seals. Peel white paper backing off and attach foam corner block seals.
- Attach the side rails to the brackets:
- With the tailgate closed, evenly position both side rails from front to back while compressing the seal installed in step 5. See illustration below for correct distance from tailgate.
ATTENTION: SPACING RAILS CORRECTLY AT TAILGATE END OF BED.
With rails spaced correctly from tailgate, proceed by adjusting the space
between the bed caps and rails as shown below.

Space the Driver and Passenger side rails 2 5/8 inches from each bed cap at cab end. While holding rail at 2 5/8 inches apply pressure downward on rail and tighten both bolts in each front bracket.
- With the bolts in the front and rear brackets bolted tight, proceed to tightening the bolts on the middle bracket.
- Once rails have been positioned, and all bracket hardware has been tightened. Continue to step 4 in manual that was supplied with this kit to finish installing.
Refer to step 4 and continue with step 7 in manual supplied in this kit.
