Product Usage Instructions
Recommended Materials:
Ensure you have the following materials before starting the installation:
- MFG approved sealant
- L-Foot
- Bolt
Installation Instructions:
- Locate and mark the rafter on the roof where you plan to install the AHJ CONDENSED PERMIT PACKAGE 2024.
- Pre-drill a hole at the marked location to prepare for installation.
- (Optional) Fill the pre-drilled hole with MFG approved sealant to enhance waterproofing.
- (Optional) Apply a ring of sealant around the bottom of the L-Foot for added protection.
- Insert the Bolt into the L-Foot assembly.
- Securely attach the L-Foot assembly to the marked rafter using appropriate fasteners.

RECOMMENDED MATERIALS
- Tools to locate and mark rafter
- Drill with a 15/64” drill bit
- MFG-approved sealant (optional)
- 1/2” Nut Setter
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Locate and mark the rafter
- Predrill the hole
- Optional: Fill the predrilled hole with MFG-approved sealant
- Optional: Place a ring of sealant around the bottom of the Microflashing® washer
- Place the Microflashing®
- Insert the Bolt into the L-Foot
- Drive the Bolt until the Microflashing® is compressed
- To compress Microflashing® properly with QB2 use a 150 minimum torque lbs/inch
- The Bolt will compress the Microflashing® and when fully compressed the L-Foot will not rotate.
