Fitting Instructions

This kit contains the following items:

BLP0071 Blanking Plate x 1
M8 Washers x 4
M8 x 1.25 x 20.00mm Bolts x 4

Before proceeding with the installation, ensure all parts are
present. Follow these steps:

Identify the mounting location on your bike for the footrest
blanking plate.
Use the provided M8 bolts and washers to secure the blanking
plate in place.
Tighten the bolts according to the specified torque settings
(refer to the general torque settings).
Double-check the installation to ensure stability.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
· Remove the two bolts that secure the OEM pillion footrests in place on both sides of the bike. The footrest hangers should now come away from the bike.
· Fit two bolts and washers through either blanking plate and offer up to the bike, before tightening.
· Repeat the above process to fit the blanking plate to the other side of the bike, ensuring the logos are facing outwards.
· Ensure bolts are torqued correctly using the (GENERAL TORQUE SETTINGS) table on page 2.

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS) Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
· Retirez les deux boulons qui fixent les repose-pieds passagers d’origine des deux côtés de la moto. Les supports du repose-pied devraient maintenant se détacher de la moto.
· Insérez deux boulons et rondelles dans l’une des plaques d’obturation et présentez-les sur la moto avant de serrer.
· Répétez le processus ci-dessus pour installer la plaque d’obturation de l’autre côté de la moto, en vous assurant que les logos soient tournés vers l’extérieur.
· Assurez-vous que les boulons soient correctement serrés à l’aide du tableau (RÉGLAGES GÉNÉRAUX DU COUPLE) à la page 2.
