DETERMINE THE POWER REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR EQUIPMENT
1. Ensurethattheequipmentpluggedintothe UPSdoesnotexceedtheUPSunit’srated
capacity.Iftheratedcapacitiesoftheunit areexceeded,anoverloadconditionmay
occurandcausetheUPSunittoshutdown orthecircuitbreakertotrip.
2. Therearemanyfactorsthatcanaffect theamountofpowerthatyourelectronic
equipmentwillrequire.Foroptimalsystem performancekeeptheloadbelow80%of
theunit’sratedcapacity.

2. RemovethefaceplateandrotatetheLCDmodule,thenreinstallthefaceplate.
3. ScrewtherubberfeetwithprovidedM4roundheadscrewsandthenputtheUPSonto
theassembledtowerstand.Youcanalsoputthedustcoversinthescrewholesonthe
topsideoftheUPStopreventdustfromfallingintotheunit.
BASIC OPERATION
Normal Use
1. ProperlyinstalltheUPS.
2. Connectequipmenttotheoutletsonthe rearpanelofUPS.
3. PlugtheUPSintoa2pole,3wire groundedreceptacle/walloutlet.
4. PressthepowerswitchonLCDmodule once.Thedisplayscreenwilllightup
andshow”UPSOn/Off”onthefirstline. UsetheUp/Downbuttontoselect”On”
or”DelayOn”andthenpresstheEnter buttontoturnontheUPS.
ThedisplayscreenwillshowCyberPower inthefirstlineandtheUPSmodelinthe
secondline.ThentheOnlineorOnBattery IndicatorontheLCDmodulelightsup,
indicatingtheUPSisoperatingfromutility orbattery.
5. ToturnofftheUPS,pressthepowerswitch onLCDmoduleonce.Thedisplayscreen
willlightupandshow”UPSOn/Off”on thefirstline.UsetheUp/Downbuttonto
select”Off”or”DelayOff”andthenpress theEnterbuttontoturnofftheUPS.The
displayscreenwillshow”Goodbye”andall theindicatorswillbeoff.
IMPORTANT! For first time usage, plug your UPS into an AC outlet to disable
cold start protection. Otherwise, your UPS will not turn on.
IMPORTANT! Do not use an adapter, line conditioner, or other surge protection
devices between the wall outlet and the UPS. Use of such a device may impede
proper operation of the UPS.
Beawareofthefollowingstatements:
A. YourUPSmaybeusedimmediatelyupon receipt.However,chargingthebatteryfor
atleast12hoursisrecommendedtoensure thebatteryreachesitsmaximumcharge.
Chargelossmayoccurduringshipping andstorage.Torechargethebattery,
simplyleavetheunitpluggedintoanAC outlet.Theunitwillchargeineithertheon
oroffstate.
B. Tomaintainoptimalbatterycharge, leavetheUPSpluggedintoanACoutlet
atalltimes.
C. DONOTplugalaserprinter,copier,space heater,vacuum,papershredder,pumpsor
otherlargeelectricaldevicetotheUPS. Thepowerdemandsofthesedeviceswill
possiblyoverloadanddamageyourUPS.
D. AlwaysplugtheUPSintoa2pole,3wire groundedreceptacle/walloutlet.Make
surethewallbranchoutletisprotected byafuseorcircuitbreakeranddoesnot
serviceequipmentwithlargeelectrical demands,e.g.airconditioner,refrigerator,
copier,etc.Avoidusingextensioncords.
E. Topreventtheriskofelectricshock,follow thestepstogroundtheUPS:
(a)ConnectagroundwiretotheTVSS screwontherearpanelofUPS.
(b)Connectanothersideoftheground wiretotheground.
F. IfyourUPSfreezes,youcandoahard rebootasbelowsteps.
(a)Pressandholdthepowerswitchon theLCDmoduleforaround1520seconds;
theUPSwillbeforciblyshutdown.All indicators,displayscreen,andoutputwill
beoffimmediately.
(b)Afteranabnormalshutdown,theUPS restartsitselfwhenitispoweredbyutility.
IftheUPSdoesnotrestartautomatically, slightlypressthepowerswitchonLCD
moduleoncetowakeuptheUPSto performtheautorestartfunction.
Whenthereisnoutility,youneedto followbelowprocedurestoturnonthe
UPS.Slightlypressthepowerswitchon LCDmoduleonce.Thedisplayscreen
willlightupandshow”UPSOn/Off”on thefirstline.UsetheUp/Downbuttonto
select”On”or”DelayOn”andthenpress theEnterbuttontoturnontheUPS.The
displayscreenwillshowCyberPowerinthe firstlineandtheUPSmodelinthesecond
line.ThentheOnBatteryIndicatoronthe LCDmodulelightsup,indicatingtheUPS
isoperatingfrombattery.
Note:WhentheUPSisoff,pressingand holdingthepowerswitchforaround15
20secondscannotturnontheUPSeven thoughthedisplayscreenwilllightup
forafewseconds.Followabovestepsto correctlyturnontheproduct.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,donotremovethecoverexcepttoservice
thebattery.Therearenouserserviceablepartsinsideexceptforthebattery.Forbattery
