WARNING: Maximum drop is 1/2″ Adjusting beyond 1/2″ drop will damage door bottom, and void warranty.
Unit is factory sized to fit net door width.

Installation Instructions

  1. Mortise bottom of the door on centerline 7/8″ wide x 1-1/4″ deep.
  2. Hand the door bottom. Pull and turn each side of the beveled actuator rod setting beveled edges facing stops on frame.
  3.  Trim gasket material to extend just beyond each end of the door bottom.
  4. Position door bottom in mortis with actuator rod toward hinge edge; mark screw holes.
  5. Drill pilot holes for screws using 5/64″ drill bit.
  6. Install door bottom with screws provided.
  7. Set for proper seal. To increase the drop, pull and turn the beveled actuator rods left. To reduce the drop, pull and turn the beveled actuator rods right. Maximum Drop = 1/2″.

FIELD SIZING:

Maximum cut is 1-1/2″ each end. Only cut both ends if it is necessary to cut more than 1-1/2″.

  1. Remove screw in face of housing at end to be cut.
  2. Pull entire rod assembly out of housing.
  3. Remove beveled actuator rod from the plastic sleeve.
  4. Unscrew beveled actuator from the rod.
  5. Cut plastic sleeve at end without holes; and threaded end of rod the same amount.
  6. Slide gasketing clear of end to be cut.
  7. Cut housing and drop bar, by the same amount as the rod and plastic sleeve were cut.
  8. Slide gasketing back into place and trim to extend just beyond each end of the door bottom.
  9. Re-assemble everything and slide the rod assembly back into the door bottom. Then replace the screw.
