Product Usage Instructions
Hardware Setup

Power off the Modular Matrix Switch.

Unscrew the two Phillips head screws on the rear of the Modular
Matrix Switch and remove the back panel cover. -
Slide the VM7904 into any of the Input Board Slots (4 upper
slots) on the Modular Matrix Switch until it secures in place. -
Tighten the screws on the VM7904 to fasten it to the Modular
Matrix Switch. -
To install more I/O boards, repeat steps 2 to 4.
Source and Display Device Installation

Connect your A/V source device to the DisplayPort and audio
input ports of the VM7904. -
Power on the Modular Matrix Switch and all devices in the
installation.

Hardware Setup
I/O Board Installation
An ATEN 16 x 16 Modular Matrix Switch is used as an example in the
instructions below. For a list of compatible Modular Matrix Switches, please
visit our official website. 1. Power off the Modular Matrix Switch.
Note: The VM7904 is hot-swappable. 2. On the rear of the Modular Matrix
Switch, unscrew the two Phillips
head screws and remove a back panel cover.
3. Slide the VM7904 into any of the Input Board Slots (4 upper slots) on the Modular Matrix Switch until it secures in place.
4. Tighten the screws on the VM7904 to fasten it to the Modular Matrix
Switch.
5. To install more I/O boards, repeat steps 2 to 4. 6. Proceed to the next
section to install a source device.
