This wired smart Wi-Fi camera comes with an integrated dual connector with two
ports, each with a different function
How to insert the microSD™ card
The Wi-Fi camera comes with a built-in card slot located at the bottom of the
unit, which supports a microSD™ card of up to 128GB. Once you insert the
storage card, the camera will automatically start recording and storing videos
on that memory. This type of card will normally store about one month of
continuous video footage.
- Step 1: Gently lift the rubber cover protecting the compartment at the bottom of the camera.
- Step 2: Insert the microSD™ card. Make sure you insert it in the correct direction inside the slot.
- Step 3: Put the cover back by pushing it down with your thumb until it tightly closes the compartment.
Note : Failure to complete step 3 can lead to water damage on the device.
Installing the Nexxt Home App
Download the Nexxt Home app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Then follow the next steps.
Installation Instruction
- Register by email. Fill in the required fields
- Enter the verification code you received.
- Create a new password and then select Completed
- Your Nexxt Home account has been created successfully.
Adding a device to your Nexxt Home account
- Select “Add device” or the + icon to add the device, followed by the smart camera
- After you click on the smart camera icon, you’ll see this page. Click on “Next”.
- You must connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your network password.
- Scan the QR code from your mobile device with the smart camera. Once you hear the tone, click on the I heard a prompt button. If you experience any issues, reset the camera. If a registered account added the camera through the app, then another user will be prevented from setting up that camera in a different account, unless permission is granted through the Share access option
- If pairing is successful, the notification Device added successfully will be displayed on the screen. Click on the pencil icon to rename the camera, and then select Save to store your settings
Camera settings
- Full screen. Switches to full-screen view of the camera live feed
- Screenshot. Take a still from the camera feed
- Speak through the camera. Allows two-way voice communication through the camera.
- Record: Starts recording a video.
- Drop-down menu.
- Playback: If a microSD™ is installed, you can use the playback function to watch recordings.
- Gallery. Presents a list of all recorded videos and photos stored locally or in the cloud.
- Theme color. Allows users to customize the appearance of the interface by switching to either light mode or dark mode. The latter is recommended for battery saving.
- HDR: The High Dynamic Range technology improves the quality of scenes by enhancing the brightness and contrast ratios of the screen.
- Night vision mode. Allows the camera to automatically turn on the infrared light to offset insufficient light conditions.
- Device volume. Controls the volume of the camera speaker during two-way audio communications between phone and camera.
- Motion detection settings. Turns the motion detection feature on and off. Changes the sensitivity to low, medium, or high.
- Siren: Activates or deactivates the alarm.
- Ligth: Turns the light on and off.
- Edit: Use it to set up shortcuts to control other compatible smart devices.
- Messages: A quick way to view the list of push notifications sent to your mobile device.
- Cloud storage: Allows you to purchase a cloud storage service.
- Features: Opens a menu with additional camera features.
Settings
- Device name: It allows the user to rename the device. To change the default name, click on device name.
- Device information: This menu will display information about the camera.
- Tap-To-Run and Automation: Links the smart camera with other smart products to automatically control them through a customized command.

Basic function settings
- Flip screen: Flips the image 180 degrees if the camera is mounted upside down.
- High dynamic range: Enhances the image rendered by the camera, with a wider range of colors, brighter whites, and deeper blacks, which allows you to perceive more details in the darkest and brightest areas of the screen.
- Talk mode: Allows either one-way or two-way communication.
IR Night Vision
Night vision: Select the night vision configuration settings between the Smart, Infrared and Light modes.
Motion detection settings
- Motion detection settings: Turn the motion detection alarm on and off. Change the sensitivity between low, medium, or high. Activate or deactivate the human body detection filter.
Device sound adjustment
Set up the volume of the camera speaker for two-way audio communications between phone and camera.
ONVIF
Memory card settings
- If you are using a memory card, this feature shows you the following options:
- Total capacity: Shows the capacity of the microSD™ card.
- Used: Shows how much memory has been used.
- Remaining capacity: Shows how much space is left on the microSD™ card.
- Format: This will format the microSD™ card to be used on the camera.
Recording settings
- If you are using a memory card, this feature shows you the following options:
- Local recording: You can set the camera to constantly record 24/7. How much it records, depends on the size of the microSD™ card.
- Mute recording: Turn the camera microphone on or off while recording.
- Recording mode: You can switch between Event recording and Continuous recording.
- Schedule: Allows you to program when to turn the recording on or off.
Cloud storage
Cloud storage: Provides the option to purchase a selection of cloud storage services.
Offline notification
- You can enable and disable this feature. When activated, the app will trigger a notification 30 minutes after the device goes ofsoffline due to a power outage or any other reason.
- Feedback: Use this feature to let us know of any issues you may find setting up the product
Share device
Use this feature to give friends or relatives access to your smart camera.
After clicking on Share device, tap Add sharing. Then enter the e-mail address
of your friend. Tap Done. With this, the newly added users will have access to
your smart camera.
Note : Family or friends will need their own Nexxt Home account to access
the device
- To remove a user on iOS, slide the name to the left. On Android, press and hold the name of the person you wish to delete. When the pop-up box comes up, select Delete. A Notification conforming that you no longer want to share the device with the selected user will be displayed. Tap Conrm to permanently remove the user.
- Add home screen: This feature adds a shortcut of the device to the main screen on your phone.
- Device update: This feature allows you to see a record of updates we perform on our firmware.
- Remove device: Use this feature to unpair the device from your Nexxt Home account.
