Recommended Surfaces:

These surfaces will provide good quality results:
Smooth ceramic tiles Smooth glass tiles Wall panel (acrylic) Mirrors
Smooth painted gypsum Stainless metal Laminate
Non-Recommended Surfaces:
These surfaces will not be suitable for use:
Brick wall (not suciently flat) Stone wall (not suciently flat
Unfinished wall such as gypsum or plaster (this requires primer paint first) Stucco wall (not suciently flat)
Unpainted plywood (paint with primer before installing wallpaper) Shower wall
Oily wall

Before you start:

  • It is recommended that you test the suitability of your surface by testing in an inconspicuous location & check after 7 days
  • Patch any damaged areas of the surface
  • Prepare your surface by ensuring it is smooth, clean & dust-free. Allow recently painted or primed walls to cure for 30 days prior to applying wallpaper to avoid bubbling
  • Gather required tools: Sharp utility knife, ruler, squeegee (not included)
  • It is recommended that installation be completed by at least 2 people

Installation:

  • Start in a corner, if applying multiple rolls, hand them from left-to-right or right-to-left to ensure a smooth repeat of the design
  • Apply the first roll by peeling away 10cm of the paper backing from the top of the roll and create a crease in the backing
  • Align the top of the wallpaper with the ceiling, ensuring it is straight, and press the wallpaper against the wall
  • If unhappy with placement, slowly peel o paper, reposition & slowly re -apply
  • Gently peel backing down 15-10cm at a time, and smooth-out wallpaper against the wall from the centre outwards
  • Use the squeegee to move large air bubbles to the edge, being careful not to scratch the design
  • Once the sheet is completed, pick up your next roll and apply it carefully to match the repeating design. Take care to not stretch or warp the wallpaper when trying to align
  • Once area is complete, use the sharp utility knife to carefully trim any excess paper at the far edge of the wallOngoing Care & Cleaning:
  • Wipe down with a damp cloth. Avoid using any chemical cleaners. If using any cleaner other than water, test in an inconspicuous area first

Lifespan:

  • The wallpaper is expected to stay in place indefinitely, but removal may be significantly more dicult after 3 years without also peeling o some paint Removal:
  • Start in a corner, then slowly and gently peel away like a sticker

WARNING: TEST IN AN INCONSPICUOUS LOCATION AND CHECK AFTER 7 DAYS FOR SUITABILTY OF SURFACE.
WHILE THIS WALLPAPER HAS BEEN TESTED ON THE RECOMMENDED SURFACES IN VARYING CONDITIONS, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES THE MATERIAL WILL STAY COMPLETELY INTACT, THAT THE PRODUCT WILL PROPERLY ADHERE TO THE SURFACE OR THAT NO ADHESIVE WILL REMAIN ON THE SURFACE WHEN REMOVED. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT MAY BE AFFECTED BY:

  • THE NUMBER OF COATS OF PAINT ON THE SURFACE
  • THE AGE AND TYPE OF PAINT USED
  • BUMPS AND CRACKS ON THE SURFACE
  • DRYNESS OR DAMPNESS OF THE SURFACE
  • HEAT FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT
