Product Usage Instructions
- Assemble the manifold according to the provided diagram in Figure 1.
- Follow the piping section of the Installation, Operating, and Service Instructions to connect the header to the system piping. The connections can be sweat or press with a size of 1-1/4 inches.
- Complete the Start-Up and Checkout process as described in the Installation, Operating, and Service Instructions.

- Asphyxiation Hazard. Fire Hazard. Explosion Hazard. This boiler must be installed, serviced, or repaired by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier. Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance can cause severe personal injury, death, or substantial property damage. Read and understand the instructions and entire boiler manual before attempting to install the boiler and header.
- Burn Hazard. Safety relief valve discharge piping must be piped near the floor to eliminate the potential for severe burns. Do not install shut-off valves between the safety relief valve and the boiler or between the safety relief valve and the discharge. A union may be installed in the safety relief valve piping.
- Burn Hazard. Excessive heat during soldering could damage gaskets. All piping should be checked for leaks after assembly. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or substantial property damage.

Recommended tools:
- Pipe wrench
- Adjustable wrenches
- 5/8 in. wrench for pump flange
To install Header, perform the following steps:
- Assemble manifold as shown in Figure 1.
- Follow piping section of Installation, Operating and Service Instructions to connect to system piping. 1-1/4 in. connections can be sweat or press.
- Follow Start-Up and Checkout in Installation, Operating and Service Instructions.
WARNING
Burn Hazard.
Safety relief valve discharge piping must be piped near floor to eliminate
potential of severe burns. Do not pipe in any shut-off valves between:
- Safety relief valve and boiler
- Safety relief valve and discharge. Union may be installed in safety relief valve piping.
