Breast milk storage Bag

This bag is intended to be used for storing, transporting and warming up breast milk.

Helpful Tips

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly before touching the storage bag. Open the bag by tearing Arrow 1 in the direction shown. Do not fill bag past the 210 ml mark, breast milk expands as it freezes.
  2. Make sure the zipper area is clean, remove the air inside the bag and close it fully to avoid leaking. Label the breast milk storage bag before storing.
  3. Refrigerate or freeze your breast milk right af ter expressing. Breast milk can be defrosted in the fridge in around 12 hours. Alternatively, hold the bag of frozen milk under warm running water (a maximum of 37 °C or 99 °F).
  4. Once fully thawed, you can warm your milk by placing the bag (or the bottle) into a cup, jug or bowl of lukewarm water for a few minutes to bring it to body temperature (37 °C or 99 °F). Gently swirl the bottle or bag af ter heating, without shaking or stirring to mix any separated fat.
  5. To transfer your breast milk from the bag to a bottle, tear Arrow 2 in the direction shown and pour your breast milk in to a bottle.
