SET UP YOUR PHONE

Step 1: Install the Tuya smart application by scanning the QR code or you can find it in Apple Store and Google Play, make sure Bluetooth/WIFI on your phone is on. If the product is the WiFi-Bluetooth version, turn on both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, then join in your local Wi-Fi network via Tuya app (only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks).

Step 2: Power on the lighting device (with low voltage), tap the Tuya icon on your phone to access Tuya Smart App. The interactive interface is shown in Figure 2 below.

Step 3: If the lighting device is in pairing mode, your phone will automatically discover the lighting device. Simply tap “Add” to add it, as shown in Figure 3 below.

Step 4: If the device doesn’t pop up automatically during the Step 3 process, tap the upper right corner [o] button, then select “Add Device” from the dropdown menu that appears, as shown in Figure 4.

Step 5: At this point, the Tuya app will search for the device again.
When the device is detected, tap “Add” to add it, as shown in Figure 5.

Step 6: Alternatively, you can manually add the device by selecting and adding it from the “Lighting” category. Choose “BLE” for Bluetooth version devices and “BLE Wi-Fi” for WiFi-Bluetooth devices, as shown in Figure 6.

Step 7: If your phone still can’t detect the lighting device after Step 6,ensure that the device is powered on (with low voltage). Open the cover of the knuckle and reset the device by pressing the reset button five times or by power cycling the lighting device (turning it off and on) five times rapidly. When the device is in a breathing lighting mode, it indicates that the device has been reset (the light will blink stronger and weaker 3 to 4 times before maintaining a constant
brightness). The image below (Figure 7) shows the prompt on your phone. If the lighting device has blinked before, click the circle on the left side of “Confirm the light has flashed or breathed,” and then click “Next.” Your phone will automatically search for the lighting device.
Repeat Steps 3, 4, 5 and 6 to establish the connection between the lighting device and your phone.

Step 8: Access the user interface to rename and group the lighting devices. Customize the light settings according to your preferences, including brightness, white light color temperature, and scene modes. Refer to Figures 8, 9, and 10 for guidance.

Step 9: When the distance between your phone and the lighting device exceeds the maximum range, the phone won’t be able to control the lighting device, and the device will maintain the settings from its last connection with the phone. Once your phone is within the maximum connection range of the lighting device, open the Tuya app then you can simply continue using your phone to control the lighting device.

Step 10: If you need to use another phone to control the lighting device, delete the lighting device via the Tuya Smart’s device management on your phone(tap the [:] in the upper right corner of the screen). The lighting device will reset automatically. If you haven’t removed the lighting device via Tuya smart, manually reset the device by pressing the reset button or power on/off it five times rapidly.
Afterward, repeat Steps 2 to 8 to connect the new phone to the lighting device.
