First Time Setu:
- Install a micro SD card or a 2.5 inch hard disk in the NVR.
- Connect the included mouse to the USB port.

First usage
- Install a micro SD card or a 2.5 inch hard disk in the NVR.
- Connect the mouse included in the package to the USB port.
- Connect a monitor to the HD-out port using an HDMI cable.
- Connect the NVR to the router with an Ethernet cable. Note: The NVR is connected to the router only by cable.
- Power the NVR to a 230V power source using the power adapter (230V – 12V 2A) included in the package. After a few seconds, the voice prompt will confirm turning on the device.
Turn the NVR off
There are two methods of turning off the device.
- Access the main menu (right click on the screen) and select the Logout -Shutdown option
- Turn off the power supply.
Configuration
- Note 1: Configure the system (NVR + cameras) before installing the devices in the final location.
- Note 2: The voice prompt will accompany you throughout the configuration.
- After starting the NVR, the quick configuration interface (Startup wizard) will be displayed on the monitor. Follow the steps on the screen.
- The system will detect that no camera is connected to the NVR and will start the quick pairing procedure (Quick pair). Note: You can cancel the pairing of the cameras at this step and resume it after completing the configuration of the network parameters (see step 6).
- Set the time zone, date, time and language.
- Set the user and access password. Follow the steps on the screen.
- The system will check the network parameters. If all parameters have OK status, proceed to the next step by pressing the “Next” button. If the network parameters are not OK and you want to configure them manually, press the “Network” button. Check the DHCP option for the automatic retrieval of the parameters or manually enter the requested information (IP Address, Gateway, Subnet mask, etc.)
- After correctly configuring the network parameters, you will be redirected to the IP channels configuration interface.
- The system will automatically scan (or you can press the “Search” button) the cameras in the network (in the case of cameras already configured in the same network as the NVR) or new unconfigured cameras (the camera needs to be restarted to be identified by the NVR).
- After identifying the cameras, press the “Add” button to add each camera on one channel.
- After successfully adding the cameras, press the “Next” button.
- In the following interface, you can download the mobile application (ICSee) by scanning the QR code on the screen.
- Set the channel display parameters on the screen: channel name, time display, recording status display, alarm status, monitor resolution* etc.

Maximum supported resolution 1920x1080px.
Note: Before changing the resolution, make sure that the monitor connected to the NVR supports that resolution. If the resolution set in the menu is higher than the resolution of the monitor, nothing will appear on the monitor and you will no longer be able to access the menu. If, however, this happens, connect the NVR to a monitor with a higher resolution, access the menu and change the resolution.- Click OK to complete the NVR quick setup procedure
The Menu
In the main preview interface, right-click with the mouse to access the menu.
Main Menu
Options: IP channel, Playback, Record configuration, Network, Date Time, Custom view.
IP Channel
The interface allows the identification of IP cameras, their configuration and
addition to channels.
IP Camera search/add area
- Select the communication protocol between NVR and cameras. Options: NETIP, ONVIF, Full Netcom.
- Search. Press the Search key to search for cameras connected to the same router (same network) as the NVR.
- Add. From the list of displayed cameras, select the desired cameras and click on Add to add them to the system.
- Network. Configure network parameters for cameras (IP address, gateway, etc.)
- IP Bulk Modify. Quick change of IP to several cameras.
- Quick Pair. Quick add and configure of cameras.
Channel management area
- Delete. Delete the camera from the selected channel. Click Apply to execute.
- Clear. Delete the information on the selected channel. Click Apply to execute.
- Encode. It displays the technical parameters of the connected cameras (resolution, frame rate, video compression, quality, etc.).
- Edit devices. Change IP and port for the selected channel.
- Bulk upgrade. Firmware update for selected cameras.
- Network detect. Network and Cloud server testing and diagnostics.
- Channel title. Renaming cameras.
- NVR Network. Configure NVR network parameters.
- Adaptive shutters. Disables the IP adaptation function for the selected cameras.

PlayBack
The system offers you numerous filters and options for identifying the desired
recording. You can search by channel number, date and time interval or by file
type.
Record Configuration
The interface allows you to set the following settings: the duration of a
recording file, the recording mode (scheduled or manual), the period (day and
time interval) and the type of recording (normal recording, motion detection
and alarm).
Network
Manually set the network parameters (IP address, gateway, DNS, port, etc.) or
check the DHCP option for the automatic retrieval of the parameters.
Note: For the settings to take effect, restart the system. Right click on the
screen – Logout – Reboot.
Date Time
Set the time zone, date, time and format.
Custom view
Organize the cameras on the 8 channels.
System
Options: General, SnapShot Conf., Display, Account, Backup.
General
The interface allows the following settings: setting the menu display
language, the behavior in case of full hard disk (overwriting or stop
recording), the duration of a session and activation/deactivation of the quick
configuration guide at system startup.
Snapshot Config
Set the captures cyclically at a certain time interval and send them by email,
FTP or store them on the hard disk.
Display
In the local preview mode, the following can be displayed: time, channel name,
recording status, alarm status, transparency and display resolution.
Note: Before changing the resolution, make sure that your monitor supports
that resolution. If the set resolution is higher than the resolution of your
monitor, nothing will appear on the monitor and you will no longer be able to
access the menu. If this still happens, connect the NVR to a monitor with a
higher resolution, access the menu and change the resolution.
Account
The interface allows managing the users who have access to the system, adding
users, changing user rights, changing the password, creating user groups and
setting a security level of the account by recording answers to certain
predefined questions. In case of password reset, the verification code can be
sent in the mobile application or to the set email address. To increase the
level of security, you can set a pattern (graphic model) for access to the
system.
Backup
The USB memory or the external HDD must be installed in the NVR before
starting the backup copy. Press the Detect button to identify the storage
device, then the Backup button to execute the backup copy.
Alarm
Options: Intelligent Alert, Abnormality, Vehicle Detect (functia nu este
activa), Traditional Alarm. Intelligent Alert
Set the behavior of the system in case of motion detection: record and/or
notification in the application. Also set the motion sensitivity level and the
action area.
Abnormality
Set the system behavior in case of: storage device error, lack of space on the
storage device, lack of Internet connection or IP conflict. In such situations
you can set the sending of a notification in the application or an email.
Traditional alarm
Set the system behavior in case of no image or no video signal. In such
situations you can set to send a notification in the application or an email,
start recording, make captures or save the alarm recording on an FTP server.
Advanced
Options: HDD info, Upgrade, AutoMaintain, Restore, Import-Export, Digital, LOG, Version.
HDD info
Set the operating mode of the hard disk (read only or read/write).
Note: in order to be able to save recordings on the hard disk, it must be set
to read/write mode.
Upgrade
Insert a USB stick into the NVR that must contain the update file in the main
(root) folder. Select the storage unit and the file from the NVR menu and
click on the Upgrade button.
AutoMaintain
Set the system restart on a certain day and time or set the automatic deletion
of files older than a certain period.
Restore (Reset)
Select the options you want to reset.
Import/Export
Export or import system settings.
Digital
Options: Digital channels (canale digitale), Channel status (status canale) si
Channel Type.
Digital channels
The interface for searching, adding and configuring cameras.
Channel status
Displays the status (connected, not connected or not configured) for all 10
channels.
Channel type
Displays the maximum number of cameras and the resolution of the cameras that
can be connected to the system. PNI WIFI800 supports a maximum of 8 IP cameras
with a maximum resolution of 5MP and 4 IP cameras with a maximum resolution of
8MP (4K).
Log
It displays the history of the actions executed in the system.
Version
Displays useful information about the firmware and a QR code with the system
serial number (useful for adding it to the mobile application) and a QR code
for downloading the mobile application.
Other menu options
Right click on the screen to display additional options:
Channel Set, Record Mode, Playback, Smart pics, IPC parameters, Color
settings, Split menu, PTZ Control, Output adjust, NetDetect, Logout.
Channel set
The interface allows the identification of IP cameras, their configuration and
addition to channels.
Record mode
Set the recording mode (manual or scheduled) for each individual channel.
Playback
Shortcut for accessing the interface for searching and playing recordings.
Smart pics
The interface is only available for cameras that support the human face
detection function.
Color settings
Adjust the color parameters (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.) for the
viewing interface of the cameras.
Split menu
Select the way to display the cameras on the same screen.
PTZ Control
The interface is only available for cameras that support the PTZ control
function.
Output Adjust
Set the volume and picture.
Net Detect
- Local Net Detect. Camera connection monitoring and diagnosis.
- Remote Net Detect. Cloud network and server monitoring, diagnostics and configuration.
- Net traffic Detect. Data traffic monitoring performed by NVR in the network.
Logout
Log out, close or restart the system. English
Control from the ICSee application
Note: Due to the numerous updates of the application, it is possible that the
images and information described in this manual are different from the version
you have installed.
Install the ICSee application from the App Store or Google Play or scan the attached QR code:
Auto-add
- Activate the Location and Bluetooth function in the mobile phone.
- In the main interface of the application, press the “+” icon to add a new device to the application.
- The application will automatically search for nearby devices.
- After your NVR has been identified, click on the “+” icon next to it.
- Add the Username and Password of the NVR.
- The NVR has been added to the application.
Manual add
- In the main interface of the application, press the “+” icon to add a new device to the application.
- From the “Add device manually” area, select the “DVR/NVR” option.
- In the next interface, press “Next”. With the help of the application, scan the QR code on the label of the NVR.
- If the QR code cannot be scanned, click on “Can’t locate QR code”. The application will search for devices on the same network as your phone.
- Add the Username and Password of the NVR.
- The NVR has been added to the application.
