Safety Precautions
WARNING – Failure to follow the instructions below can damage the product or cause personal injury.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this appliance with any solid-state speed control device.
- Do not spray any paint, insecticide, ethyl alcohol, or any other chemical agent on the appliance’s surface. It can cause a crack, electric shock, or fire. If there is a chemical accumulated inside of the device, it will be discharged from the air outlet and dispersed back into the living space. Please ensure the room is well ventilated if using any of the listed chemicals.
- The air purifier should not be used in a flammable and combustible environment or environment with corrosive air.
- When the device is on, please do not touch the air inlet or outlet, or put a hand or any object into the air outlet so as to prevent injury or damage to the product.
- Do not sit on or place any objects on the device.
- Device is designed for indoor, dry location installation. Not intended for bathroom or high humidity environment. Improper usage may cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
- Do not modify, dismantle or repair the appliance. This may cause fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

- This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
- If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is broken, damaged, and/or defective.
- This can cause electric shock or fire. Do not touch the power cord with a wet hand. The power cord should only be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized repair professional.
- Please clean the foundation and remove the primary filtration net of the PM2.5 module to make sure the appliance performs as intended.
- Unplug the device from the wall before moving or performing any maintenance.
- Unplug the device from the wall if it will not be used for an extended period of time.
- Turn the device off and unplug from the wall if there is a peculiar smell coming from the appliance. Contact manufacturer technical support if this occurs.
- Do not place foreign objects into the air outlet. Please check the unit for foreign objects before use.
- The air purifier should be placed at least 20in (50cm) from the wall or other objects.
- Unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before performing any service or maintenance on the appliance.
- This product complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-h period.

Product Features and Functions
The TRIO Plus air purifier combines three state-of-the-art air treatment processes into one powerful system. The 3-stage system boasts True HEPA filtration, two high-intensity UVC lamps, and Field Controls’ PRO-Cell™ Catalyst.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Air quality is classified into five levels: Healthy, Good, Fair, Unhealthy,
and Poor.
The different colors of the air quality indicator light represent the air
quality in different states.

Control Panel Operating Instructions

All buttons, except the child lock, are disabled when the child lock is ON.

| Filter| The filter indicator will blink when the filters need to be checked
or replaced. After the filters have been inspected and/or replaced, press and
hold the filter indicator for 5 seconds to reset the filter indicator.

| UVC| The UVC indicator will blink when the UVC lamps need to be replaced.
After the UV lights are replaced, press, and hold the UV light change
indicator for 5 seconds to reset the UV light indicator.

| Timer (1H/ 2H/ 4H/ 8H)| Set the timer to control how long the purifier
should operate. Press to cycle between different lengths of time. The timer
light will toggle between remaining hours according to time left until
shutting down.

| Speed 1-5| For manual mode, press and cycle between the 5-speed options by
pressing the manual speed button. The purifier will stay in Manual mode unless
turned off or switched to another mode.

| Auto Mode| When the purifier is on, cycle between modes by pressing the mode button. In AUTO mode, the air speed will be adjusted automatically between speeds 1-5 according to the air quality level. The purifier is equipped with a light sensor and will scan the environmental light in AUTO mode. The purifier will switch to SLEEP mode after being in dark surroundings for 5 minutes. If the purifier picks up light for 5 minutes, the purifier will exit sleep mode and return to AUTO mode.
| MT Mode| The purifier operates based on the speed setting adjusted by the user. Upon switching to M T mode, the speed automatically increases by 1 speed.
| Sleep Mode| Control Panel lights will dim, the air quality indicator will turn off and the button beep sound will be silenced. Speed and timer are adjustable in sleep mode. Button luminance will return to normal upon exiting SLEEP mode. When the purifier is entering sleep mode, an eight hour timer will automatically begin. The timer can be turned off manually
| Turbo Mode| The purifier operates at maximum speed. Exit Turbo Mode by
adjusting speed manually or switching to another mode.

Getting Started
Installing the Filters
Before using the appliance, remove all packaging materials covering the
filters and place the filters into the appliance as described in the following
steps:
Note Please ensure that the correct filter installation sequence is
followed.
Otherwise, there may be damage to the product and the filtration efficacy of
the unit may not be as effective as advertised.

Step 1 As shown in the figure, with both hands on the upper side of the machine, first pull the front case in the direction 1, then lift the front case in direction 2.
Remove all filters and packaging materials from filters. -
Step 2 Place the PRO-Cell Catalyst in the innermost position closest to the UVC lamp as shown in the figure.
Grasp the photocatalyst filter in the direction of the arrow and put the unpacked photocatalyst filter back into the appliance with the tag pointing towards you. -
Step 3 Place the activated carbon filter screen as shown in the figure. Grasp the activated carbon filter in the direction of the arrow and place the activated carbon filter back into the appliance with the tag pointing towards you.

Step 4 Place the HEPA filter as shown in the figure. Grasp the HEPA filter, as shown, by the arrow and put the HEPA filter back into the appliance with the tag pointing towards you.

Step 5 Slide the per-filter into the pre-filter frame, then place the bottom of the pre-filter frame into the slots on the bottom of the appliance and press the top towards the appliance.

Step 6 Place the front cover on the unit once all the filters have been installed.
Slide the front cover slots on the base into the slots on the appliance (direction 2) and then push the top towards the unit until the cover clicks closed.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Please ensure the appliance is unplugged from the wall before performing any service and/or maintenance.
Cleaning of the Appliance
Wipe with a soft cloth.
Replacement of the Filters
The Filter indicator on the control panel will blink indicating the filters
require inspection and/or replacement.
It is recommended the pre-filter screen be inspected and cleaned at least
every 2 months. When there is dust on the surface of the pre filter screen,
remove it with a dust collector to extend the usage period of the filter.
The filters should be replaced every 6 months. However, the life of the filter
may differ according to the degree of pollution in the environment. The filter
can be replaced earlier if necessary.

- In environments with poorer air quality the filters may need to be replaced more frequently.
- The used filter shall be disposed of as non-combustible refuse.
To increase the life of the air purifier, perform regular maintenance and
care.
Before performing maintenance, be sure to shut down the air purifier and
unplug the power plug from the power source.
Suggestions: Clean the air purifier once a month. If the operating environment is poor, increase the cleaning frequency.
Note All maintenance parts can only be inspected and provided by our authorized service agency.
FILTER REPLACEMENT

When cleaning the air purifier, please turn off the power first and clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, gasoline, benzene or other chemical solvents for cleaning.

After the filter has been used for a certain period, it will need to be cleaned or replaced. The process is as follows:

Step 1 As shown in the figure, with both hands on the upper side of the machine, first pull the front cover in the direction of 1, then lift the front cover in the direction of 2.

Step 2 Press the clasps of the pre-filter frame down, releasing the frame, then pull the pre-filter towards you.
Once the frame is released, lift the pre-filter frame away from the appliance. -
Step 3 Pull the tag of the HEPA filter to remove the filter from the air purifier.

Step 4 Pull the tag of the carbon filter to remove the filter from the appliance while keeping the PRO-Cell Catalyst in the air purifier.

Step 5 Remove the new Carbon Filter from its packaging and place the new filter in the direction of the arrow with the tag pointing towards you.

Step 6 Remove the packaging on the new HEPA filter and place in the direction of the arrow with the tag pointing towards you.

Step 7 Place the bottom of the pre-filter frame into the slots on the bottom of the appliance and press the top towards the appliance until the clasps click closed.

Step 8 First slide the bottom hooks of the front cover into the air purifier slots in the direction of 2, then press the top towards the air purifier in the direction of 1.

Note HEPA filters and activated carbon filters are best replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on the use situation. High-efficiency HEPA filters, activated carbon filters, photocatalyst filters, and pre-filters cannot be washed.
REPLACEMENT OF UVC LAMP
WARNING – Skin or eye damage may result from directly viewing the light
produced by the lamp in this apparatus. Always shutdown and disconnect the
power before replacing or servicing.
Replace lamps with Field Controls Trio Plus UV lamp replacement kit Part
Number # 602604500.
Replacement steps:
- Turn the appliance off and unplug from power outlet.
- Remove all the filters after opening front cover panel.
- Remove the UVC lamps by rotating them 90 degrees.
- Install new UVC lamps by inserting and rotating 90 degrees to lock in place.
- Replace filters back into the air purifier.
- Close front cover panel to complete installation
COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
